Wild Wednesday

Lots of youngsters here who can step up any time. An interesting night of racing coming up.
Reminder, I am hosting Battle night 7/23 from the winners circle. With two teams playing at the Adidas National Showcase that weekend, I will probably sunburned and thirsty, but I look forward to all of you stopping by and saying hello.

There is a $10K Guaranteed Pick 4 with a 14% takeout on races 8-11. My play is

12345/3/257/26=$30 and
12345/236/5/2= $15. A total of $45

Analysis

Race 8: A wide open affair. 'nuff said.

Race 9: If 3)Tieler Bea Hotspur races back to 7/13, this one is over. But 2) Doowrah's Deal and 6) Jeremy's Chaser are stalkers who can pick up the pieces if he falters, and they add value.

Race 10: 5) Lucca's Revenge changes barns as often as some horsemen changes significant others. 2)Llc has been sharp versus lesser and Greeno brings in 7)Blueridge Tornado. He usually ships 'em ready.

Race 11: Very tempted to single 2)Samcin, but Jl Nate The Great is just as fast, but against lesser. he can't be dismissed.

Here is the rest of the card. Good luck.

Race 1: 1 R U A Chip- Won this class last time & they opened it up for him. And he draws the rail; 6 Gate Keeper- The Falcon always keeps him close; 7 Going Hollywood- Fresh, back class & raced well in return.

Race 2: 1 Melboy- Showed a moderate close against better in local debut; 2 Tally Ho Don- Very consistent & relatively fresh; 3 Auto Pilot- Does work doesn’t sustain it, but we’ll go with the Lawrence Welk numbers.

Race 3: 9 Thirtytofinalscore- No idea how good he can be, but he’s unbeaten and worth a shot; 2 Cummingsandgoings- He’s been consistently on the ticket and draws well; Silent Star- Best of the rest.

Race 4: 1 Custers Last Stand- Well-connected and impressive so far; 7 Heavenly Deo- Freshman is improving and still has upside; 6 Cause To Smile- Has impressed since return; 4 Northern Haze- Looked a bit better with Lasix last week and may keep going forward.

Race 5: 4 Rose Run Luther- I’ve always liked him and he seems to be maturing, despite no recent wins; 5 Whatsupwiththat- Impressive win from the snowman in last; 9 Pathway Dot Com- faces far softer tonight.

Race 6: 1 Hickory Hunter- The good draw really helped last time, a better one tonight; 4 Zeus’s Spirit- A wake-up call last time, but not a 2-1 wakeup call; 6 Winsmith Delight- ETE off a perfect trip last time.

Race 7: 2 Wolf Creek Dasher- Gets fresh hands and a good draw. Scoreboard; 9 Desired Entry- He’s also undefeated lifetime, but 2nd tier hurts; 3 Rods Howard- Tough time against better in last; 5 Tic Tic Tic Boom- Looked like a different animal cutting it out, even though he tired late.

Race 8: 1 Lookslikefire- Faces much softer and gets a solid trot driver from the rail; 3 Legacy Chip- This class dropper is always close up early; 2 Rain- Gets another chance after the breaking issue.

Race 9: 3 Tieler Bea Hotspur- Has always been streaky and what a way to start a new one last start; 2 Doowrah’s Deal- Is usually hanging around; 6 Jeremy’s Chaser- Very consistent & must be used on ticket.

Race 10: 5 Lucca’s Revenge- Moves back up after another win and claim; 7 Blueridge Tornado- Greeno doesn’t bring ‘em if they are not ready; 8 One Day Wonder- Not sure how he’ll deal with the snowman, but he’s an honest trotter; 2 Llc- Triple class jump for a very sharp trotter who has competed in the class before.

Race 11: 2 Samcin- Sharp as a tack and should handle the move up; 6 Jl Nate The Great- Also very sharp, but was doing it against lesser; 1 Yankeedoodledandee- Not sure the rail helps, but he figures.

Race 12: 4 I’ve Got Life- Finally breaks through against a pretty hapless group; 1 Chocolate Crush- Has tactical speed & must be considered; 7 C And C Hoorah- Two wins this year is twice as many as any other.

Race 13: 3 Robin Dontget- Races evenly and may be forward enough late; 4 Pacificam- Showed improvement with Robin, needs to do still more; 6 Snooz Attack- Doesn’t always fire, but he must be considered; 2 Cappuccino Blaze- Costly break is an understatement for last start, but was good two back
