Friday thoughts (With the Pick Fourplay)

Pick Four $10K Guaranteed and just 14% takeout.

1479/24/5/13468= $40 And
49/24/5/24=$8 and let's hope we hit it for $2 (I might even be comfortable sticking with the $2 play, but some of these horses are iffy).

Good luck!

Race 1: 5 Jarmoto- Has raced well since Lanny called on J.D., may break through tonight; 4 Betta Ona Freddie- Not racing well, but gets fresh hands; 1 Andrea Pauline- Can do enough from the rail to wrap up the trifecta.

Race 2: 4 Broadway Petera- Class-dropper may still be a start or two away from her best, but is in very soft; 6 Hula Lu- 10 of 14 on the board this year, but just one win; 5 Doowrah Silver- As consistent as Fausto Carmona lately.

Race 3: 4 Lt Commander- Has always done work racing at this class, maybe, just once, he can sustain it? 1 Wildridge Star- NW1L8, like the choice and has tactical speed; 8 Zeus’s Spirit- Big pilot change, snowman hurts.

Race 4: 4 Gadjet- Raced well dropping down and should get ‘er done here; 7 Stormy Gray Sea- Marlin Smith- Ryan Stahl, boom or bust tonight on that angle; 3 Vivacious Raider- Tough trip bouncing back up, another chance this time; 9 Hawthorne Maria- Can close and surprise a few folks with Sugg.

Race 5: 5 Osborne’s Gypsy- Just missed in her seasonal debut, not worried she’ll bounce; 3 Jellyfish Joy- Seems to be getting her legs back under her; 2 Theresa’s Princess- Beat the choice last time and barn is red-hot.

Race 6: 3 Catherinethegreat- They opened it up to $205 for her off a win; 4 Mystical Ways- Had been racing well prior to the break; 1 Count N Caloris- Wired these two back and draws as good as it gets here.

Race 7: 1 Back Home Again- Just a hunch, I have no idea why; 2 On The Money- Gets class relief as a NW1L8; 7 Radiant Star- Another class-dropper, Lasix seems not to be helping her; 5 French Worker- If I pick her, she races badly, if I don’t she excels. We all have a horse like that and she’s been mine this year.

Race 8: 4 I Give Youmy Word- Drops down to what is really her best level and may be overlooked a bit; 9 Northern Opal- Beat these with a big effort in her last start; 1 Queen Aliceanna- Needs to finish strong and should.

Race 9: 2 Paint Wheel- Slight call based on old form, none are proven at this level; 4 Becausewecam- Fast and shows work, but just three wins in last 16 months; 7 Hollysfolly- Ultra-consistent, but can she overcome the outside?

Race 10: 5 Shez Good Osborne- Best bet of the night (unless Gypsy is); 2 Miss Hkb- Gets J.D. here and can contend at this level; 1 Jetstreamjazziecam- Gets a fresh set of hands and another chance after a bad break; 7 Clarksville Jazz- Moves up in very good form, can be on the ticket.

Race 11: 1 Emma Rose Ben- Moves back up in very good form, rail is a bonus, except when we cash; 4 Campside Angel- Seems to respond to catch drivers; 6 C R Dream- Not racing badly, just needs to do a little bit more.

Race 12: 1 Mach N Cookies- Shows solid effort in this class four and six back; 5 I Love Being Right- Back at a competitive level; 3 Freenezdowntheroad- Weak final sixteenths, but has been there otherwise.

Race 13: 1 Forever A Cowgirl- Should at least see a pylon this time, right Wyatt? 9 Stonebridge Beauty- Contends with her best, not sure we will see it; 5 Darting Larkin- Inconsistent, but can break through at any time; 6 Towner;s Big Sadie- Usually gives at least moderate effort.
