Saturday selections and a $10K Guaranteed Pick- Four Play

The Play

123468/12/13/16= $48

Analysis:

Race 8: Would really like to hit the all button here, too many "what-ifs," but have to keep the play below $50, so we will eliminate a couple for publication purposes. I WILL hit the all when I wager it.

Race 9: They opened up the class for 2) Next Idol ($305 per start) and he is sharp enough to handle the move up. 1) Doctor Gates will be forward early and must be considered.

Race 10: One eligible at time of entry, five class droppers and five who get in under the secondary condition (a huge advantage). 3)Rapid Pursuit was winning races last year and 1)Capricious Art just looks good on paper.

Race 11: 1) Red White And Crue is super sharp, draws well and is in a hot barn. have to use him based on his Knipper-form, but he was a $5 claimer at Buffalo. The competitive $10-12 claimer, Brandon's Art, is a solid value play here. He's won one of every seven races in his career, a solid strike rate.

Here are the race-by-race picks. Good luck.
Race 1: 2 Hello Carlo- Lukewarm call w/class relief, but this is a soft bunch for the class; 3 Captain Korki- Always tries, rarely wins; 5 Musical Dream- Seems to do better work with Wyatt in the bike.

Race 2: 7 Moreland Flash- Hoping GGG puts him on the point; 4 Caramel Dumpling- Will pick up the pieces if there is pressure up top; 2 Imperious- Stalker may have too many leavers in front of him.

Race 3: 2 Blue Time Overdrive- Best draw in two months and always puts in effort; 7 Sharp Shuttle- Needs to overcome a bad draw, but is ETE; 4 Eagle Jacob- Eligible at time of entry, but lost to #7.

Race 4: 2 Lima Jag- Third start back in a group that doesn’t like to win; 1 Heez Ruthless N- Rail, class relief, Aaron, but recent form is horrid; 6 Soul Redeemer- Aaron chose off, so he has to go below the #1; 3 Heza Firecracker- Unknown quantity could easily take this one, but likely needs a local start.

Race 5: 4 Bodandy Andy- Moves up again and is racing very well; 2 J D’s Turismo- Charlino chose off, but he looks best on paper; 3 Get And Gone- Moves up off an “oh, wow” win, but gets new hands.

Race 6: 6 Fueled N Waiting- Drops to level of his last win and should beat these; 1 Three Five Seven- One-move animal needs to trip out; 4 Blue My Mind- Always gives effort, would like him more inside.

Race 7: 3 Broadway Fame- Should keep rolling for hottest barn on the planet; 2 Tactical Dreamer N- Drops back in where he belongs; 4 Gold Fever- Most consistent of these, but may be moving up out of his comfort zone; 6 Picasso’s Dream- In at a level where he should contend.

Race 8: 3 Diehl’s Deal- All he needed was a few pylons last time, ignore at your risk; 6 Mom’s Looker- Furthest inside of those drawing outside; 8 Australian Stock- Finally getting around this racetrack.

Race 9: 2 Next Idol- I think it’s Haley or Casey. You? They opened the class for him. 1 Doctor Gates- Rail helps him enormously; 4 S F Stampede- Consistent and they opened this one up for him, as well.

Race 10: 3 Rapid Pursuit- Been pursuing him for too long. Bankroll says one last chance; 1 Capricious Art- Puts in effort and should be a player from the rail; 9 Tooter Lane- Seems more consistent than he has been; 2 Barratry- Iffy eligible-at-time-of-entry, he finishes fourth and exceeds the earnings cap.

Race 11: 6 Brandon’s Art- Faces a bit softer and is a quality animal; 1 Red White And Crue- Moves up but is razor sharp; 4 The Long Goodbye- Another chance after a disheartening break.

Race 12: 5 Sleek Fish- Toss the bad draw lines and he is not bad; 1 Dragoninthekash- Won’t be draggin’ him in tonight; 8 Ideal Ticket- Charlino chose over #6 which gives me pause, and a value play.

Race 13: 6 Crusinfullthrottle- Triple class drop off a decent place-effort;3 Ar Ed- Shows some fast miles, but has won just two of his last 38; 5 Bucks Luck- May hang around, although I am tempted to hit an all button here; 4 Up Front Northern- Tons of back class, but current form is very, very questionable.
