Monday Madness

Looks like relief announcer Barry Vicroy gets some face time. Regular announcer Ayers Ratliff has a Marion City Council Meeting and Orange's soccer Lady Lions head to Canton Central Catholic for a 7 PM District Semi-final. Guess where I will be? Not at the Marion City Council meeting, either. A couple interesting horses tonight and I think that it is absolutely key to warm-ups, even moreso than usual. Youngsters start to get tired this time of year, others step off, and we have some others coming off barn changes, scratches and freshenings. Good luck.

Race 1: 7 Valantine De Vie- Needs to finish better & may not from this post, but faces softer; 9 Abc Command- A Noble contender with the class drop; 1 Miss Katie Lane- Barn change.

Race 2: 6 Gunner Osborne- Yes, I’m picking my 0-60 buddy Clair to win; 8 Deetox- Seems decent, snowman inhibits; 4 Eclipse Seelster- Was solid with Lasix and a change of scenery.

Race 3: 9 Lofty Mom- 8 career wins make her a real player; 6 Moms Imp- Gets class relief and was good here 2 back; 7 Buckeye Jesse- Moves up and may struggle, a chance to be on ticket.

Race 4: 3 Jessies Classy Art- Very sharp and gets the call in a competitive group; 9 Zipsnapndrop- Not sure the 2nd tier is his best spot; 1 Bodandy Andy- May step up w/Deaton who chose over the #2; 7 Im A Rustler Too- Rolls these if he’s right. Crucial to watch warm-up.

Race 5: 2 Striking Genius- Gets Charlino and if he’s 12-1 I will eat a ghost pepper on the air; 6 Smok’n Coalburner- Form is improving, needs a flat mile; 8 Mysterious Speed- Big class drop but snowman hurts, can Kurt steal the front?

Race 6: 4 Personal Pleasure- First time A-rod gets her home; 3 Coupon Lady- Competitive draw and may step up for Stahl; 6 Tina Starzzz- Well-bred & connected, but her stats stink.

Race 7: 7 Shackleton Hanover- Sharper than the shuttle right now; Sharp Shuttle- Still pretty sharp, and not necessarily a two-horse-race; 1 Stand Out Girl- Saves ground early, on the ticket late; 2 C’mon Twist’nshout- Has been solid at the fairs, faces a tough group here.

Race 8: 2 Diehl’s Deal- Ignore Charlino choosing off, he’s the real…well, you know; 9 Come Along Fred- Raced well for Charlino under previous connections; 5 Clayton Delaney- Improving.

Race 9: 1 Leach- If he is ever gonna win, it’s tonight with Aaron and the rail; 4 Coin Of The Realm- Has best form of these in this class; 2 Bad Boy Bunny- Needs a better trip, may get it.

Race 10: 4 Star Drifter N- Tends to hang around & is way overdue; 9 Heez Ruthless N- Classy old campaigner, and so is the horse; 2 Soul Redeemer- Had great success here previously

Race 11: 6 High Heels N Spurs- Shows ability and now gets Aaron; 1 Genesis Challenger- Will be on the point for Wulf; 4 North’s Chester- Solid trotter draws better.

Race 12: 4 Dawn Of Trey- Brutalized by the last trip, good prior to that; 3 Next Idol- First time claiming tag, consider; 2 Graysons Choice- Pretty consistent lately and draws well.

Race 13: 7 Western Eddie- Stahl chose this one over the 4, which caught me by surprise; 4 Step By Step- Stepping up with Lasix; 6 Macinnis Seelster- Inconsistent, but raced well against much better last time; 2 Travolta- Good draw and raced well for Charlino two back.
