Tuesday 'capping thoughts

With several of the "Big Boys" on vacation in Mexico (I think), things coul dbe very interestimg. Hey guys, don't eat the worm. For everyone else, good luck!!

Race 1: 3 Bahama Nick- Moves into JD’s barn and gets a catch driver; 2 Kickin Punkin- Hangs around and raced okay in local debut; 1 Jenean Family Fun- Rail may be huge with this group.

Race 2: 5 Jw Singletree- Decent qualifier and gets Page; 3 With A Little Luck- Pros to 90-year-old owner/trainer/driver Walter Young (at heart); 2 Incredibly Fast- 2nd start for new barn.

Race 3: 4 Dandy Candy- Gets a bran change and may step up; 1 Ask Me Honey- Has shown some gate speed, consider; 3 Honeymoon Hudson- Fresh horse drops here.

Race 4: 6 Beauty’s Life- 3rd start back & has been a different horse here; 1 Princessoftheball- Very consistent lately and gets a great post draw; 5 Doowrah’s Stand- Almost always does work and is a must use in tri, super, imo; 2 Dvc Dixie Cocktail- Gets a post & contended previously

Race 5: 5 Lima Darlin- Two-year-old shows ability and good step up against this group; 3 Fountain City Fury- Debut was a decent on, not sure of upside; 8 Ms P M-Recent form is questionable, but she has more good results than the rest of this group combined.

Race 6: 2 Magic Ice- First decent draw since the fairs, value play (you won’t get 8-1); 6 Crazy Harold- Uber consistent and will be on this ticket; 1 Sp Starbright- Step sup, but rail helps.

Race 7: 2 Red Heads Star- Doing good work and may pick up win #2 (yikes) of ’08-09 here; 5 Mor Of That- Inconsistent, but should be good with E.D.6 Engine Hanover- Rarely wins but seems to hang out a lot, especially in supers; 1 Sultan Desbi- Dangerous from the rail.

Race 8: 6 Bette Lavec- Best post draw in over a month, racing well; 4 Km Dream Kat- Doing decent work at times; 1 Tally Ho Chip- Would have won last time without the break.

Race 9: 3 Life’s Ember- Has been facing far better and should take these; 1 Candy Apple Miss- Another one who is back at a competitive level; 2 Triple T Ladonna- Must finish her miles stronger, but speed is an asset.

Race 10: 1 Catnapper- First competitive post draw since the Indians were still playing; 3 Karrydale Intrepid- Will a fresh set of hands help? 2 Beach Boy Blues- Just missed in last, but that is a pattern; 6 Pant-apartheid- Raced well for Page two back, consider on ticket.

Race 11: 9 Solar Power Lavec- Was shining at the bottom, similar effort beats these, too; 5 Nico Mirabel- Has been consistent with these; 6 Dublin Dollars- Not as effective with this draw.

Race 12: 3 Odds On R J- Class dropper appears to fit well; 7 Sold American- Flat effort in last is a concern, usually makes a move; 8 Look Who’s Invited- First time E.D., post stinks.

Race 13: 9 Ohoka Dale N- Has the back to handle these with his current form; 3 Storm Buster- Faces a comparatively soft group; 8 Dragon Rider- Will the class relief overcome the snowman? Maybe; 6 Shady Sequel- Sequel hasn’t had the “character” development of the original yet.
