Friday Fillymania

Tough card here, especially with Betsy Kling and Mark Nolan unsure of the weather-- I am on the air and there may be some changes, but I think I have some legit value plays. Good luck!

Race 1: 9 Karrydale Charm- Class of the field and showed signs of waking up last week; 2 Kool Kelley- On the board last two; 1 Precious Lass- Beat these last time at this level & has the rail.

Race 2: 9 Excellent Caviar- Racing exceptionally well and should overcome the second tier; 4 Tori’s Angel- Another chance after a flat effort last time; 1 Ritzy Rip- Saratoga shipper gets class relief and the rail, but may need a local start.

Race 3: 4 My Sweet Lorelei- Beat these last time and is in outstanding form; 6 Surf Song- Pretty consistent lately and gets Stahl; 9 Terebithia- Better effort than the line shows last time.

Race 4: 6 Shelbys Muneymaker- 21 of 33 first or second this year, what’s not to like? 5 She’s So- Deaton chose off to drive my tip pick, still a factor; 4 P C’s Exotica- Racing well with Russ in the bike; 1 Dawn On Me- Maine shippers usually need a local start, not that the sample is large.

Race 5: 2 Weekie Wachie- Big time class relief & gets my call even without E.D.; 3 Fun For Eva Mo- Has moved forward for Cox, but this is a big step up; 5 I Am Samsational- Best of the rest.

Race 6: 3 Redmeansgo- As sharp as any horse on the grounds & can handle the class jump; 7 Life Uptown- Solid form, solid connections; 6 Cheetah Feet- Class relief & local success before.

Race 7: 5 Dynastar- Have always liked this mare and Elliot chose over the 6; 6 Mephisto Waltz- Had her on top until Elliott chose off, still a contender; 2 Francie’s Dream- Ends a string of rotten post draws and could step up; 4 Icu Roller- Has leveled a bit since the claim, but still fits.

Race 8: 2 Reba’s Finale- Needs to step up a bit, but the real toughies are in the other split; 9 The Girl Can Bet- Well-bred filly drops and should fit well; 7 Scandalous- Nearly won out her $1200 purchase price in the first start, 3rd or better gets her there tonight.

Race 9: 5 Autumn’s Katy K- May be a value against a suspect favorite; 3 Icaria Beach- Finds ways to lose, should have several wins; 6 Cassie’s Choice- Steps up, but impressed in last,

Race 10: 1 Ashleys Big Affair- Needed the last start and drops to the level of a good effort in September; 9 Boy Killer- Woke up with the plunge & may repeat; 5 I’m Forever Deer- Depends which one shows up, chancy; 3 Urusula K- First decent post in ages, consider on ticket.

Race 11: 5 Scooters Clan- Gets Aaron, but is better at NW$200; 8 Colossal Sahbra- Best horse, but may not overcome snowman; 2 From The Pier Dear- Missed time a big concern.

Race 12: 7 Swift Samantha- A repeat of two back? Field is soft for the class; 1 Honey Creek Abby- Wildly inconsistent, consider from rail; 6 April Fool Days- Fresh and raced well in return.

Race 13: 3 Lickcreek Hi Heels- Today’s sign of the coming Apocalypse- I am putting Bobby Hunter Sr. on top; 2 Nf Wind Chimes- 3rd back and class relief; 4 Quenelle Hanover- Improving.

Race 14: 2 Ferris Wheel- Seems to like this class and track, as I said last week; 6 Blueridge Fliritng- Very sharp and may get along well with Joey; 2 Silky Sailor- Consistent and a good draw; 9 Hurricane Kelsey- I have always liked this mare, worth a try and should be on ticket.
