Yom Kippur selections

Here you go. If it applies, may you be inscribed in the Book of Life and have an easy fast! If you have no idea what I am talking about, just go cash!

Race 1: 4 Call Me Merkle- Recent barn changer gets another chance off the drop after a Delaware break; 9 Rose Run Impetus- 3rd back and competitive with these; 3 Oneforthemaster- Needs a flat mile, but he is the class of this group.

Race 2: 4 Weltmeister- Well-connected freshman faces softer; 9 Storm Front- Usually does work but 2nd tier and 0-42 make it tough; 5 Queens Scooter- Fair campaigner could be anything.

Race 3: 3 Rap S J- Gets Kakaley. With a flat mile, that’s enough; 1 Nico Mirabel- Can contend from the rail; 6 Lucky For Us- Unfortunate break in last after facing better and showing a bit.

Race 4: 2 Hot Soup- Barn change and class relief, I will take a shot; 9 Go Cowboy Go- Just a feeling, nothing concrete; 1 Dickie Tad- Facing better at the fairs, but for a lot less money; 3 Kcc Thunder- Drops a bit here and may wrap the exotic ticket.

Race 5: 2 Pat’s Fantasy- Gets Matt off the win in the same class; 1 Spirit Within- Usually does okay when he draws inside; 9 Silly N Sassy- Seems to get along with the new KK.

Race 6: 1 Contradiction- Down the road; 9- Honorable Guy- Racing style fits this group well if he is right; 8 Charming Comer- Elliott either leaves and let’s #1 retake or finds the 2-hole;

Race 7: 2 Bigboppr Bluegrass- Big driver change and showed smidgen of work in last; 1 Harmony Oaks Tom- Delaware race is better than the line looks; 3 Hoosier Lion- Inconsistent, but contends with best; 6 Swing Plane- Tough trip last time, when I put the Giss of Death on him.

Race 8: 3 Heza Native Winner- Moves up off an impressive win, not sure of his bottom; 7 Trick Sam- Must use in exotics with his consistency, post an issue; 1 Big Guy Sue- Racing well and should be sharp from the rail.

Race 9: 9 So Fly- Second tier not the best spot for him, but he should rally; 3 Sj’s Manawa Sam- Still has license to improve in 5th lifetime start; 2 Harmonizer- Post helps this one ommensely.

Race 10: 3 Night Trouble- Hasn’t sustained his work, but may with Matt K; 2 Uphill Battle- Classy old guy can still bring it now and then (talking about Paul, not the horse); 4 Warrior Lee- Gets Noble and 1st time Loney; 6 Eza Rich King- Improved with J.D. last time, 1st time.

Race 11: 8 Polo Joe- Third dragging Flash around, should win with Kakaley; 3 Townline Powerful- Tough trip in last, another chance here; 2 Rich Hollow-Races better inside, he is here.

Race 12: 5 Crown Time Big Liz- What’s not to like? 6 Ray J- Matt was listed, but Larrabee drives? 3 Lookslikefire- Raced well at the fairs and has some upside, consider.

Race 13: 9 Varitek- Fresh set of hand angle here; 4 Splish Flash- Matt chose over the 5/7/9, but this one looks like a pack animal to me; 5 Nl Nuclearmedicine- Best of the rest.

Race 14: 2 Scootnick Bodeen- Was facing better, but that name! Yikes; 5 Tucson Pal- Fresh and gets class relief; 9 Royal Tattler- Seems to do a bit of work with catch drivers; 3 Cruisin Sam- Wildly inconsistent, but what do you expect from this class?
