Tuesday Picks

The rain is supposed to stop, but it will be cool and fall-like. Don;t be surprised if many of the young horses' form drops off. Good luck- I will be coming to you from the palatial Dave Bianconi studios this evening and may miss the first race or two, so you have a head start.

Race 1: 5 Toy Boy- Has done some work at the fairs and gets Stahl tonight; 6 Jazzys Boy- Facing better in fair stakes, a chance (and maybe a test-drive)? 4 Rocky Road- Trainer drives for the first time.

Race 2: 1 Rubberband Man- Improving and raced very well first time for Ken; 3 Midnight Affair- Looked pretty good on 9/15 here; 9 Crazy Harold- Disappointed in last, another chance.

Race 3: 3 Andrea Pauline- Big driver change helps her to get it done; 2 Big Scene- No chance from outside 1st time Lasix in last, take a flyer here; 6 Ro yal Sugar- Rally may not Stahl tonight.

Race 4: 3 Cg's Paydirt- Has a '55 life mark here and gets Kakaley; 4 Travel Bug N- Tons of back class but has been awful lately; 9 Amati- Going forward for the other KK, and best wishes to the original KK, who is out of hospital and doing better; 2 Hall Sign- Always hangs around, could wrap super.

Race 5: 3 Abc Flower- Rough luck for Crouser. Original listed driver can't, now he is stuck with Kakaley; 4 Mom's A Hustler- Consistent and Burnsie is a pretty decent horseman that we don't see often, value? 5 Golden Slippers- Major player with a flat mile for Elvis' old bunkmate.

Race 6: 2 Jenabell- Has done everything but win and gets a fresh set of hands; 6 Dragoninthekash- Homebred is very consistent, with license to improve; 3 Screamin Believer- Fared fair at the fairs facing better, gets Matt K for the 1st time.

Race 7: 8 Color Me Black- At this level may overcome the eight with Kakaley for Cassavaugh; 1 Tooter Lane- Gets Stahl, but this one has burned me once too often; 4 Red Heads Star- Needs to sustain his work; 7 Sky Stirkes- Can close for minor honors.

Race 8: 9 Country Parson- Beat these two back, no chance last time from the snowman; 1 Moneyman- Has a achance if Stahl can keep him trotting; 2 Iron Duke- Could line at Wooster for Bullet Bob, the lumberman.

Race 9: See Buns- Mapes choice has been solid over last three, value play! 1 Big Head Hundreds- Does work, draws well, should contend; 9 Standin On A Beach- No chance in last, local return was solid.

Race 10: 1 Western Hoss- Sugg chose off, but this one looks to go down the road from he rail; 3 Life's Bandit- Faced better in last and fits well with this group; 9 Doowrah's Trifold- If Kurt can go nose-to-helmet with the #1, his choice will pay off; 4 Spidermonkey- Inconsistent.

Race 11: 1 Roamin- Has done work and may win this wide-open contest; 7 Brother Bud- Only bad efforts come from outside posts; 3 Deal Me Three- Goood at the fairs, no chance at this class last try.

Race 12: 1 French Attack- Kakaley will push him over the top for red-hot barn; 5 Passailed- Old guy has raced wll of late, so has the horse; 4 Soul Redeemer- A bit of an in-and-outer, but has a a chance.

Race 13: 3 Bubontherun- Best post in awhile, but usually overplayed; 4 Brynee's Lot N- Has found his level, ironically worst local effort w as with Mat K; 1 Make Me Proudchico- Best post in ages makes him worthy of a call.

Race 14: 1 Buttercup Bob- Class dropper gets the rail and Kakaley, pray for even money; 3 Doowrah's Deal- Also down in class but hasn't shown me enough for top of ticket; 4 Big Fat Cat- Inconsistent, but raced his best for live-Wyers; 2 Water Twice- Sticking inside on what may be a tack track.
