I will be at a big CVC matchup between West Geauga and the Orange Lady Lions, but let's see if Bianconi can do any better than this. Not saying we will win, but as you "Hoosiers" fans know, "And David put his hand in the bag and took out a stone and slung it, and struck the Philistine in the head, and he fell to the ground. Amen." See you live on Friday.
Race 1: 7 Mystical Wildfire- Gets Kakaley after a $5K Delaware purchase by the same folks who bought his older sister, who was 2nd Friday; 1 Van Zipper- racing well and could break through tonight; 4 Ann Arbor- 0-42 life, but may get on to this ticket.
Race 2: 2 Princess C- Very green, but gets Kakaley and looks to have some ability; 6 Big Guy Sue- Knocking on the door; 7 Storm Front- Back in for a tag and first time Deaton.
Race 3: 6 Oh Joy- Still makes mistakes, but much better since Lasix; 1 Bashfull- Hangs around & no bearcats here; 2 Sos Banker- Good lines, part-time driver.
Race 4: 4 Big Head Hundreds- Has gone some big miles and had bad luck, decent draw here; 6 Homer Simpson- Raced huge for Stahl in last; 1 Bad Boy Bunny- Has speed and gets the rail for E.D; 2 Arturo’s Reactor- Closed well for Eidens in last start, could surprise.
Race 5: 2 Maddie’s Magic Man- Everything but a win at the fairs; 9 Jenabell- Closes, but how will she deal with the 2nd tier?; 4 Counter Attack- Well-traveled and has ability, Mapes may roll.
Race 6: 4 Lukenbak- Rarely wins, but was good for Matt K. in last; 3 Rose Run Impetus- Race at Canfield may mean she’s good; 6 Hylite Lavec- Class dropper has shown nothing of late.
Race 7: 3 Green Acre Pill- In solid form (finally) and looks good here; 2 Blue My Mind- Usually does some work, must sustain it; 5 As If I’m Magic- Gets Magic Matt, who won against lesser last time; 9 E C K- First time Deaton, but current is form suspect.
Race 8: 3 So Fly- Draws well and may get the win if she trots the whole time; 5 Savage Hall- Class of the field woke up in last, perhaps? 8 Sturdy Falcon- Very consistent but snowman draw will keep him from winning.
Race 9: 2 Sand Honors- Has speed, gets Stahl and should go gate-to-wire; 1 Go For It- Tough trip in last, another chance; 9 Eye Of The Dog- Actually faces softer than in the last win. Benefits.
Race 10: 2 Spidermonkey- Another new Scotty Cox-trainee, gets class relief, sort of; 6 Western Hoss- Big move up but has speed; 7 Tidewater Teddy- Seems to like it here better than in Eastern PA; 9 Brother Bud- May struggle from the second tier.
Race 11: 1 Red Cloud Rising N- Solid form and even more dangerous from the rail; 5 Knockout Sahbra- Showing consistency that has been missing previously; 9 Towner’s Bell- Big win and value in first start for new trainer, may step up again.
Race 12: 2 Doowrah’s Trifold- Hangs around, but doesn’t win often; 4 Artic Blast- Get class relief, but is in poor form; 5 Blue Rock Joe- Just a hunch, he seems to fit.
Race 13: 3 Sleepen N Memphis- Class relied off an improve effort; 2 Ohio Star- Another class dropper, but tends not to sustain his work; 4 Astroflight- First time Kakaley for a horse who has had success here in the past; 1 Leach- Rail at this level means must use on the tri/super.
