Monday Madness

I have the weeknights off this week and am working the weekends, so good luck on these.

Race 1: 5 Doc Otis- Speed horses roll in the class and he has the most improved driver on the grounds; 3 Little Beans- She’s winless in ’08-09 and has had success here before; 1 Sweet Sweep- Rail is huge in this class and she can stalk well.

Race 2: 6 Camtown’s Jewel- $850 Delaware purchase has shown a bit lately; 4 Hula Lu- Always does work, but 0 for 17 is a worry; 9 Jl Nate The Great- Two-year-old could step up here.

Race 3: 1 Mom’s A Hustler- Successful in the fair stakes and sophs have an advantage over the two-year-olds; 7 Lucky Job- Scratch is a minor concern, so is post; 8 Canaco Nevers- Would get my call with a decent draw, hopples may help considerably.

Race 4: 6 Now Really- May need a start coming in from Saratoga by way of Delaware, but appears best on paper; 9 Jaxx- Raced better than the lone shows in debut; 1 Standin On A Beach- John Ryan doesn’t look to just the fill the trailer; 4 That’s Textbook- First time Stahl.

Race 5: 2 Crown Time Big Liz- The three-year layoff helped; 9 Ima Kid- Moves up and is very green, could show more; 6 Khasseem- Will be moving late, will he be close enough, though?

Race 6: 7 Charming Comer- Hasn’t won lately, but is always right there; 2 Country Parson- Does work late and draws well in this one; 3 Three Good Fellows- Current form is doubtful, but gets Stahl first time and has been good at this level in the past.

Race 7: 3 Eagle Love- Gets E.D. after the big Burton win; 5 Bt Connection- Very consistent, but lower on the ticket; 4 It’s Kim’s Time- Gets Sugg and fits off her best, inconsistent, though; 1 Reba’s Finale- Moves into a barn with impeccable credentials.

Race 8: 3 Mad Cap- Appears to have been a pretty good pick-up from Aters; 4 In Two Win- Nice fair campaign, may need a raceway start; 5 Spare Time Tramp- No chance in last, consider.

Race 9: 7 Chocolate Chip Zip- Raced well in debut for new connections, who gave $5K; 2 Zest Express- Four, but still green, a chance; 8 Sir- Snowman is a killer, as was the break last time.

Race 10: 5 Intrepid Aries- Gets Stahl in same class as an impressive win last time; 1 L Dees Dr Norman- Always hangs around, rarely wins; 9 Swing Plane- Can hang with these and should get a decent trip; 3 Class Worker- Woke up in last, similar effort puts him on the ticket.

Race 11: 2 Just In Pine- Has a huge brush and hasn’t shown his best yet; 1 Parris Island- Monster fair campaign, but Charlie was looking for a catch-driver; 9 Sj’s Manawa Sam- Worth a chance, he is undefeated, after all.

Race 12: 1 Oneforthepresident- Has been pretty dominant at this level; 2 Allamerican Magic- Has had excuses for the bad lines; 9 Hot Soup- Drops and has good connections.

Race 13: 1 Valiant Venture- Wire-to-wire last time he had the rail; 2 Robin Dontget- No chance in debut for prestigious Cvelbar Farms; 6 Litlycantbedenied- Back class, second back angle is not the best; 9 Travel Bug N- Another classy oldster worth considering.
