Monday maybes

Tough card, but I am off some faves-- and working, so maybe some plays for your humble scribe.

Race 1: 5 Storm Front- Gets a tag after one bad effort; 4 Wildridge Eagle- First time Steve Carter who has Superman-like numbers locally; 6 Cracker Chris- Races well for Kurt, a factor.

Race 2: 1 Sand Honors- Tough trip in return for the falcon, but gets E.D. tonight; 4 Apocalypse Now- Getting some class relief off a flat mile; 3 Go For It- Sugg chose over # 2, the ML fave.

Race 3: 7 How Sweet Thou Art- I got burned last time I didn’t pick a Brown first-timer from PP7, this one looks vulnerable, but…; 3 Doowrah’s Ideal- Some speed and very consistent; 6 Cam’s Oak- Big improvement in last and should keep going forward.

Race 4: 9 Yankee Squire- At top of his game and versatile for Smith; 4 Splish Flash- Needs to finish stronger; 1 Shady Camille- Off a win in this class and the rail; 6 Parson’s Hat- Aggressive driver may change his fortunes.

Race 5: 9 Special Yankee- Tactical speed and Khasseem should carry him a long way; 1 Khasseem- When Clair doesn’t drive him, there’s a reason; 2 J And S Hoover- Hangs around.

Race 6: 2 Free For Life- Return off the scratch was quality and he should improve; 4 Nuclear Cam- Class relief after adequate efforts; 1 Liltycantbedenied- Finishes the ticket from the inside.

Race 7: 2 Pat’s Cloud- Gets Kakaley and best draw in a long time; 1 Varitek- Still green, but seems to be getting better; 3 Coin Of The Realm- Kennedy having a credible summer, do not dismiss; 9 Cg’s Wonder- Class dropper has done moderate work against better.

Race 8: 6 Christina Victory- Nose on the gate and may beat a tough group; 4 Seaworthy- Class of the field gets Matt K; 7 Anastasia Willie- Tough trip in last & gets the trainer in the bike.

Race 9: 2 Soul Redeemer- He’s up in class he’s down in class, not sure, but he can beat these; 1 Saucy Brown- Rail will help…a lot; 4 Knockout Sahbra- Always hangs around, may not win.

Race 10: 1 Super Max N- Racing very well for Bob Eidens, whose barn is heating it up; 4 Oaks Enforcer- Nearly $500K in the bank, class drop will help; 2 Romance’s Thunder- Not as sharp as he was, but can land on ticket here; 8 Passailed- Wins 1 of 3, with $320K, snowman hurts.

Race 11: 1 R Cowboy- Classy oldster gets Kakaley; 6 Peggy Spur- Back up in class tonight, but a factor; 3 My Mystique- Flat mile in last appeared to be all about the post draw.

Race 12: 2 Launch Angle- Way up in class, but in super form; 3 Osborne’s Bullet- Usually does work, but hasn’t been sharp; 9 Fancy Schmansy- Up in class, but form is improving.

Race 13: 5 Duke Of Luck- Was Matt’s choice over #4, could be anything; 4 That’s Textbook- Moves up off a rare win; 3 Perrito- Have never liked him much, but this is a soft group.

Race 14: 4 Oneforthepresident- Surprised for Swifty, once more; 2 Covered Connection- Fractions were okay, but tired in lane; 9 Rich Hollow- Gets a tag, so he is facing better, but last win was impressive; 5 Eagle Cluff Attack- 2nd start for new connections, one more chance
