Tuesday picks

Sometimes we get really busy at work and decide to show some dedication and motivation. So, when I got behind on things over the weekend, I took the Tuesday program home with me and handicapped it on my own time. Then, Monday morning I headed into work blissfully unaware that I had left the program sitting on my desk. And that makes it hard for me to write my picks and send them to the fine folks in our admission department who print them up on that cool colored paper. So, if you bought a program Monday, stop in tonight and get a copy of my picks. If you have been eagerly perusing the blog wondering where the heck the Tuesday picks, are, your wait is over.
I will try to better next time.

Race 1: 1 P Willy Putt- Did work in the qualifier and gets Kakaley; 9 Gone Shoppin- Improving filly gets a trotting master in the bike; 2 Golden Slippers- Has faced better but must sustain work.

Race 2: 5 Art Creek Boy-Third back and class relief, may have bounced in last; 7 Big Fat Cat- Wyers to Kakaley is a big angle, so is the bad post; 8 Chain Of Command- Figures with a similar effort to his local debut, but the snowman still makes it tough.

Race 3: 3 High Esteem-Could be anything and has upside; 9 Malarika- Supposed to be a good one, let’s see if King Conger gets her home; 1 Lima Darlin- Good connections and the rail.

Race 4: 3 Hillcrest Crystal- Improving and Wyatt chooses over 1/7; 5 Daves Chilly Filly- Has faced better but needs to finish her moves stronger; 2 Janica- Can save ground to be on this ticket; 1 Swift Samantha- Inconsistent, but may wrap up the super.
Race 5: 9 Speedy Jesse- Consistent at this level, may break through; 6 Photo Enlargement- 0 for 17 on the board this year, but gets Matt K; 1 Handsome Harley- Needs to put it together.

Race 6: 3 American- Pretty good first start, won’t be 12-1; 9 Lady Railaway- On the board in 4 of last 5; 1 Tindaro- Another well-bred Schillaci trotter, this one gets Kakaley.

Race 7: 2 Dinn’s Ghost- Deaton/Stockwell has had success; 1 Rollys Express- Faces softer and Smith has been heating up; 7 Guile’s Boy- Post is an issue; 3 Cb Attack- Good speed leaving is always a plus in lower classes.

Race 8: 9 Chocolate Crush- Hollar/Kakaley not a combo we have seen often, has been facing better; 1 M G Frederique- Class dropper fits well from rail; 2 White River Eagle- May need a start off the sick scratch, but was coming around before it.

Race 9: 2 Oneforthemaster- A ton of back class, wins with a flat mile; 1 Jim- On the board three straight; 4 Blazen Pegasus- Woke up with drop to the bottom, in last, a chance.

Race 10: 7 Ari Cruiser- First time tag off some good efforts; 1 Rita’s Work Of Art- Big improvement with Lasix in last; 9 Yankee Flyer- Steve Carter at .600+, must use here; 3 Doowrah’s Trifold- Pitch last due to I, but had no excuse the two before that.

Race 11: 1 Dummy Jones- Awful cover in last, should cruise; 3 Dublin Dollars- This is his best level; 2 Three Good Fellows- Inconsistent, but figures off win in last start.

Race 12: 3 Gem Heist- Convinced me last week; rolls; 4 Hoosier Lion- Moves up off a solid effort, may bounce, need value to play; 7 Polo Ody- What’s her bottom?

Race 13: 9 Fidencio- Rarely wins, but gets Matt K; 5 Nl Nuclearmedicine- Rarely misses a check, needs to step it up; 1 Inquisitive Me- Rail will help this one’s tactical speed.

Race 14: 6 One Magic Kat- Has done work and Fraker/Kakaley is a good combo; 4 Buckeye Forever- Nice bit of classification by Corfman; 8 Stand N Shout- Would get my call if not for the snowman draw; 2 Eza Rich King- Faces softer and draws well.
