Quoting The Cure for a reason. The following is second hand and has not been verified, but it sounds almost to good to be true. The Susan Komen Foundation, which "borrowed" it's "for the cure," slogan from a Canadian group and then trademarked it in the US, is sending cease and desist letters to a number of smaller cancer benefits that use "for the cure," in their name (Kicks for the Cure, Shoot for the Cure, etc). While I will not address Komen's use of its funds here (do a Google search- I want to stick to discussing their bullying), I am appalled by their behavior and they will never get another dime from me. This is all true. The rumor is that the Cure's lead singer, Robert Smith, a bit of a rebel himself, caught wind of the bullying and threats, and has instructed his management to seek a cease and desist order against Komen for using the band's name, The Cure, in its fundraising efforts. All I can say is show me show me how you do that trick, the one that makes me scream, she said.

Race 1: 4 Crossthreaded- Has consistently been just a bit better than Ocean Pearl; 6 Ocean Pearl- Could easily turn the tables, these two are both nice fillies; 2 Special Dark- Shows outstanding raceway lines off the form.
Race 2: 3 Beach Bunny- Gets Noble and may improve in this one; 9 Karrydale Charm- Has back class and recent work, but must sustain it here; 4 All Over Now- Usually gets a check, needs to do a bit more to be on the ticket.
Race 3: 2 Osborne’S Sweeper- Should mop-up tonight; 4 Caris True- Racing very well on 5/8 and probably trains on a half; 1 Sparkling Yankee- Corey Callahan makes a rare Ohio appearabce.
Race 4: 3 Storms Never Last- Simple. Go to the front and improve your position from there; 9 Saratoga’s Best- Solid performer at this level, but I would prefer her nose on the gate; 1 Princessoftheball- The good draw is a key here; 2 Icu Roller- Consistent and gets a change of scenery.
Race 5: 3 Sydney Hanover- Closed well in a needed start off a two-month freshening; 5 Hillcrest Crystal- Class dropper must be considered with Noble; 4 Dreamfair Eternal- Another class dropper, she must finish her mile better.
Race 6: 3 Drop Of Nutmeg- One last chance; 5 Imagine Freedom- Dominated similar last time; 7 M A Maria- One of 7 NW1L8 here, she gets Noble and may wake up.
Race 7: 9 Coupon Lady- So she got beat last time. It’s not like she raced badly; 5 Sarastar- She ended the choice’s streak and is racing well; 3 Lima Adore- Has won two of three and could Kash in here; 7 Upfront Brads Girl- Moves up in good form and could be anything, despite a relatively slow mark.
Race 8: 1 Rose Run Marci- Noble chose her over the entry-mate & she has lots of 1s on her card; 3 Charleigh’s Angel- Appears to be the reason Callahan made the trip; 2 Dontevenknowmyname- Speed kills and she has it.
Race 9: 2 Jimi’s Little Wing- Has historically good success with Noble driving; 5 Radiant Star- Racing well and Edwards’ barn is heating up; 9 Darting Larkin- Improving, but may be a victim of the trip.\
Race 10: 5 Admirals Diamond- No recent wins, but her lines shine brightest in this one; 3 Tt’s Little Last- Has certainly faced better on South High Street; 9 Gadjet- Classy mare is regaining her form for Wall-of-Fame owner; 4 Get Ready To Rumba- Callahan angle, even though Stahl chose to the snowman.
Race 11: 9 Emma Rose Ben- Just a hunch she will be a better value than the 5; 5 Longlegacy- Figures, yes, but 7-5 ML makes her unplayable; 2 Clarksville Jazz- Flew late last time. Take the last train to Clarksville.
Race 12: 2 I Am Samsational- She’s the only NW1L8 here, huge angle; 5 Zim And Torre- Noble chose the 10-1 over the 7-2 #3; 1 Stox Up Bluegrass- May improved with the rail.
Race 13: 4 Cosmetician- If Callahan has a big night, so will I; 6 Soaring Cloud- Racing very well right now and must be considered; 2 Magical Delight- Wyatt chose this one over the 3, so I will put them in the same order; 3 Moira’s Intended- Wyatt chose off after a win, which is telling. She is moving up, however.
