We didn't exactly crush Saturday's card, but 8 winners and all 13 winners mentioned on my tickets is pretty solid. I an wondering if the reduced Northfield schedule actually caused me to lose a bit of focus.
Wednesday features another $10K Guaranteed Pick 4 on Races 8-11 and the takeout is just 14%!
The play: 139/149/124/46= $54. I am a little over budget, but since I was under a couple times the last few weeks, deal with it (smiley face).
Race 8: Is wide open, but 9)Bella Bionda always gives effort, 3) Call Him Cruiser appears to be improving and 1) Scooter in Motion was solid, but the scratch gives cause for pause.
Race 9: 1)I've Got Life is the class of the field and the rail helps, but he does not always sustain his effort; 7) Dream Sunrise gets 1st time Noble and 4) Goodnite Wilbur has put in two very good recent efforts
Race 10: 4) Sleek Fish gets fresh hands and drops to the level of his last win, 1) Vilas Blue Chip gets class relief and 2) That'll Work changes barns
Race 11: If budget is an issue, singling Intrepid Orion, off a lifetime best with Noble driving, makes sense. But 6)Dm Ion is improving rapidly and can't be ignored.

Race 1: 5 Touch Of Chip- If this one trots he will win easily with Noble. Big if; 1 Danny-o- Has some tactical speed & the rail has to help him; 4 Here I Glow- Gets class relief but has shown little since the Q.
Race 2: 5 Man I’m Good- Good results and improves each start; 1 Thessaly- Not a fan, but has some speed and eventually will maintain it; 2 Game Maggie- Depneds on how she responds to the fresh hands.
Race 3: 3 Ilooklikerudy- Always gives effort and style fits well with this group; 7 Sj’s Manawa Sam- Drops back a bit and should be on the point for most of this; 2 Rain- Recent form is poor, but he likes this track.
Race 4: 4 Cruisin The Waves- Impressive winner in his last, should repeat; 6 Fantacular- His win was ten lengths slower than choice, speed doesn’t always matter, but… 8 Firm Jet- A trifecta of snowmen hurt his chances, but still solid; 5 Zhihong Pang- Will be on the ticket, but at 0-23 in ’11, it will be bottom of ticket.
Race 5: 1 Thisonesforjunior- Seems to be better after a winless 17-start 2K10; 3 Bells Cruiser- Showed improvement in last & the dam’s foals like Northfield; 7 Ridge Park- First time Noble and has been decent.
Race 6: 6 Super Rapper- Was much better in Noble debut and may break through; 2 Altesse- May have a chance if Daren puts her on the point; 1 Llc- Just 1-19 this year, but always on the board, must use from rail.
Race 7: 1 Mcfriendly- Always hangs around and gets as soft a group as he has seen in a while; 9 Hickory Hunter- May get a perfect trip behind my pick; 4 Search The Falcon- Another one who gets lots of checks, just not big ones; 2 In The Money- Just a hunch the change of scenery may help.
Race 8: 9 Bella Bionda- Solid performer is still learning and can go forward; 3 Call Him Cruiser- Does moderate work sometimes, consider; 1 Scooter In Motion- Would get the call if not for the missed time.
Race 9: 1 I’ve Got Life- If I keep picking him, he will win eventually; 7 Dream Sunrise- Only because Noble chose and even that may be an “account” choice; 4 Goodnite Wilbur- NW1L8 is in a positive form cycle.
Race 10: 4 Sleek Fish- Here, Noble chooses off D.J., again an “account” choice? 1 Vilas Blue Chip- Class dropper is 3rd back from the rail with fresh hands, many positives here; 2 That’ll Work- Moves back up off a barn change, taking a chance; 9 Monkey Off My Back- Dropped in with these last time & was just beat 1½.
Race 11: 4 Intrepid Orion- Noble steered this soph to a lifetime mark in his last; 1 Rounding Third- Dale pilots, which should help this squirrely one; 6 Dm Ion- Very consistent, but must do more with the move up.
Race 12: 9 Snooz Attack- Has gotten a little better with each local start; 3 Dynamite Dazzler- I know, I know, but she draws well; 1 Currently Flying- Likes being on the point and may be from the rail.
Race 13: 1 Triggerhappyfellow- The rail helps; 2 Big Black Jack- Should solid from the two-hole; 3 Mac Only Bill- Fresh horse draws well, but outside the top picks; 4 Guile’s Boy- Can easily be fourth with this draw.
