Monday not (Memorial Day)

Kind of weird that I have full wireless access in a hospital waiting room (Mrs. Giss getting some surgery) and that I can "do business as normal," whatever normal is.

Pick 4:

My comments came back to crush me Wednesday night as the last horse I dropped won in the first leg (where I said I wished I could go deeper) and then hit the last three. Ouch.

345/126/14/13= $36
34/126/14/3= $12 Total invested $48

Race 8: 5)Red White And Crue is the key. He was scratched sick after one of the fastest miles of the year at Northfield. In tough, probably needs a stary, but can't leave off.
Race 9: This is a screwy morning line, but 2) At Daybreak looks best to me in a wide-open race. #1 Alakazam Mike nearly surprised last week and Artistic Dreamer figures despite a less than optimal draw.
Race 10: I love 4)Sharp Shuttle, but the soft effort at Scioto forces me to use 1) Stand N Shout as well. He will be forward early in case the choice falters.
Race 11: Looks to be a two-horse race, but 3)Forever Friendly gets Noble back and bids for three-in-a-row, but 1)Dm Fatboy Slim is also sharp.

Here's the whole card. Good luck.

Race 1: 8 Wild Pitch- Snowman hurts, but this is not the strongest group of maidens ever assembled; 5 Angel Samantha- A hunch; 3 Little Lee- May not Stahl after an okay qualifier.

Race 2: Imagine Freedom- Generally races well when he draws well. She does, she should; 3 Sweet She Rolls- Thought about putting the maiden on top; 4 Mr Kite- Back class but bad current form.

Race 3: 7 Count Dale- Should win if he minds his manners; 9 Mr Bing- Last week was better than it looked, on the ticket here, not a win threat; 2 Macao- Improved from Q to Q to 1st start, should keep going forward.

Race 4: 3 Shackleton Hanover- Always does work and must be considered; 2 On The Shady Side- Moves up in very good form; 4 Class Worker- Has raced well since Charlino took over, NW1L8; 6 Dr Jacks Shack- Could not sustain huge effort last time, consider.

Race 5: 6 Dunktser- Class will win out in this competitive group; 5 Lookslikefire- Was super impressive his in last, will he bounce? 2 Master Wheels- Always does moderate work.

Race 6: 5 Dragoninthekash- Lukewarm call here off the class drop; 2 Pacificam- Gets Charlino in third start for Edwards; 6 Slade Gram- Most consistent of these despite the accident.

Race 7: 4 Lee A Bryant- Impressed me in his last start, may be “getting it,” 5 Intrepid Orion- Charlino chose this one over the #7 and #9; 9 Fueled N Waiting- Good in last and Aaron won’t hurt him; 1 Zakman- Moves down and inside, both of which should help.

Race 8: 3 Eagle Jacob- I still have no idea how good he is, but I would love the ML here; 4 Jenna’s Dream- Solif player, especially with Noble; 5 Red White And Crue- Risky after he scratched sick off a monster effort,

Race 9: 2 At Daybreak- Wide open race and this one usually does good work; 6 Artistic Dreamer- Not the best post for this one; 1 Alakazam Mike- was overlooked in last and raced well.

Race 10: Sharp Shuttle- Returns home after a flat Scioto effort; 1 Stand N Shout- Will be on the point, but will he last; 8 Whispers Art- May be the best horse and will close from far back; 6 Lawsuit- Big move back up, but he can play with these off his best.

Race 11: 3 Forever Friendly- Is racing very well right now and fits well here; 1 Dm Fatboy Slim- Can protect t he rail, which makes him a player; 5 Scoozi- In good form against lesser, the move up is an issue.

Race 12: Lrs Mamas Boy- Newcomer can contend for connections who are pretty sharp first out; 1 Ben’s Big Bird- Raced well in return off a four-month freshening; 3 Winter’s Finali- Has raced well for Aaron, but needs a breather.

Race 13: 1 Here’s Hooter- Rail and Charlino in a group dominated by NW1L8s; 2 Royal Tattler- Racing as consistently as he ever has and Noble won’t hurt; 4 Up Front Northern- Has some back class and should be on the ticket; 7 Laughing Is An Art- Only because Aaron chose him.
