Northfield, Monday 5/16, Pick 4 Races 8-11
A tough night Wednesday, but those things happen.
Tonight's play:
1379/1/1239/149= $48
Race 8: A tough race because there is very little legit speed, so we need to go deeper than i would like.
Race 9: I am not sure how good 1)Eagle Jacob is, but my gut says we haven't seen his best and he basically beat the saqme group last time. Plus he gets the rail.
Race 10: Would like to go deeper here, too. 9)Free For Life has had local success and should add value; 1)Get And Gone is a bit of a pack animal but must be used from the rail; 3)Zipsnapsndrop is streaky and can handle the move up and 2) Hummer N always does work, but hasn't been winning lately.
Race 11: 4) Magical New Day has huge upside and could be singled, but he might bounce after a big OSS mile; 1) Blue My Mind has good tactical speed and will be in striking range; 9) Expresso Forte will get away well behind the rail horse and needs to find a way into the cover flow.

Race 1: 3 Mr Bing- Showed two moves in an improved effort last time; 9 Wild Pitch- Followed fast horses, but still a player; 1 Endless Vacation- Needed the safe trip last time and can close to contend with these.
Race 2: 1 Bodandy Andy- Another chance after a disappointing finish; 6 Rapid Pursuit- Faces tougher than he has locally, but figures with a trip; 2 Forever Friendly- May be ignored at the windows with the switch to Robin.
Race 3: 8 China Fame- Has a fast win here and has been facing much better elsewhere; 7 Iknowwhatboyslike- Is sharp as a tack right now; 6 Not To Be Denied- Interesting story here, could be anything in his first start back.
Race 4: 2 Winter’s Finali- Raced gamely with the switch to Aaron; 1 Speak To Me Easy- Just a hunch he will be better 2nd time GGG; 4 Goodnite Wilbur- Best draw in nearly two months; 9 Royal Tattler- Can save ground and get a small piece of this.
Race 5: 9 Chang Dynasty- Gets class relief as a NW1L8 and has raced well against better; 4 Go Cowboy Go- Has gone forward since the move to the Ehrhardt barn; 2 Fancy Schmansy- The better draw really helps him.
Race 6: 7 Cruise On Osborne- Was racing very well here before trying Mea5/8; Launch Angle- has been facing better, but the snowman is a killer; 3 Caramel Dumpling- Has not gotten in gear well at this level, but must consider.
Race 7: 2 S F Stampede- NW1L8 gets class relief and a good draw; 6 Phagus Hall- Always contends, but hasn’t been winning; 1 Backbeat Hall- Seems to be bravening up a bit; 9 Laughing Is An Art- Current form iffy, but historically has done well with Aaron driving.
Race 8: 1 Doowrah’s Deal- Huge post improvement may result in a huge result improvement; 3 Spellbinder- How will he deal with the change in scenery? 9 Blue Time Overdue- Likes being inside and had excuses last two.
Race 9: 1 Eagle Jacob- Not sure how good he is, but similar effort to last two wins this; 4 Artistic Dreamer- raced well from the snowman and should be better here; 5 Heza Firecracker- Will be on the point, but will he last?
Race 10: 9 Free For Life- Loves this racetrack and this is a good level for him; 1 Get And Gone- Rail helps for owner/driver Stahl; 3 Zipsnapndrop- Moves up in very good form; 2 Hummer N- third back and has raced well off the sick scratch.
Race 11: 4 Magical New Day- May bounce, but have to put him on top off those miles; 1 Blue My Mind- Should get a very good trip for the Deli-man; 9 Expresso Forte- always gives effort and cannot be ignored.
Race 12: 2 Dm Fatboy Slim- Good draw and no Eagle Jacob here; 5 Slade Gram- Aaron chose off, but Gris suits him well, will add value; 7 Salteas Sanjay- Versatile and rounding back into form.
Race 13: 2 Dr Jacks Shack- Had no trouble moving up to this level and now draws better; 9 No Escape N- Gets class relied and should do a little bit more late than he has been; 6 Class Worker- Always races well for Charlino and must be used on the ticket; 5 Foo Too- Old guy likes this track and could surprise.
