Hoping the weather is better

After tornado warnings Monday when part of the grandstand was cleared, and then a power outage/massive storm with flooding forced cancellation Wednesday after two races, let's hope things calm down for friday.

Good luck!

Race 1: 4 Mr Bing- Love the fresh hands angle on this one, pitch the last start from 2nd tier; 6 Tansi- Best horse on paper in this one; 1 Little Lee- Solid effort in the seasonal debut.

Race 2: 4 Hardrockenjesscia- Well-connected and well-bred filly can handle these; 1 Lima Silk- Was pretty smooth in her sophomore debut; 8 Mystical Ways- Can overcome the snowman with an aggressive leave.

Race 3: 5 Cruizin At Dawn- Inconsistent, but wins with her best, and at a price; 9 Broadway Petera- Gets a catch driver, but second tier hampers her; 6 Towner’s Big Sadie- Inconsistent, but contends with her best.

Race 4: 7 Fantastic Fran- Owned this racetrack in her last stint here; 2 Jessies Band- Very consistent and seems to fit well; 4 Coupon Lady- Nice easy trip in return no bounce worries here; 3 Becausewecam- May end up cutting this one, becauseshecam.

Race 5: 4 Northern Opal- Was it the Lasix or the pace that resulted in last week’s fast effort? 1 Shelbys Muneymaker- Returned like she had never been away; 3 Storms Never Last- Seems appropriately named.

Race 6: 4 Darting Larkin- Moves up with a positive form cycle; 1 Radiant Star- Usually hangs around, especially from the inside; 2 Tina Starzzz- Has faced better at Delvin’s old place.

Race 7: 3 Alhambra Bokay- 1:54.2. Really. 1 Gadjet- Will sits on the speedster’s back and prompt her throughout; 6 Getherdone Sue- Racing well, but draws farther outside than I would like; 5 Emma Rose Ben- Most consistent of these gets fresh hands.

Race 8: 1 One Starry Night- Wasn’t a bad qualifier for this Northfield-bred; 8 Irwin- I really like him, but he may not overcome the snowman; 9 Count Dracula- Form has gone a bit south of late, but may get a good trip.

Race 9: 3 Myoneandonly- Gets a lukewarm call here off the driver improvement; 1 April Fool Days- Must consider from the rail after a string of bad draws; 7 Sassy Susie- Maybe Charlino will help.

Race 10: 9 Sunrise Sunset- She’s done everything but win lately, maybe tonight’s the night; 1 Lisa Character- Class relied and the rail are huge; 7 Winsmith Delight- was right in it two back at this level with the trainer in the bike, now gets Charlino; 6 Hf Velmas- Stahl chose the class-dropper over #5 and #7. I disagree.

Race 11: 2 Diehl’s Deal- Should ease on down the road at every call in this one; 4 Mom’s Looker- Class-dropper has really leveled lately, but still figures; 8 Master Lad Pro- Leaves aggressively, finds two hole, tires a bit late.

Race 12: 6 Lima Adore- Has raced much better since the barn change and Lasix addition; 1 Jenabell- First time Charlino and a rail at the bottom class; 4 Deena- Needed the last start after the injury scratch, strong player.

Race 13: 9 Saratoga’s Best- Was awesome in her previous stint here and is in cheap; 2 Rhino- Better post in a third back means he could horn in on the action; 5 Soul Redeemer- Stahl choosing to the Sherman-trainee is no big deal here; 6 I Am Samsational- Double class drop may help her a great deal.
