I know I tease Ayers Ratliff a lot about these cards but let's face it, he has to assemble 13 races from whatever hand he is dealt. Still, he set a record for creativity in my mind with the third race, where the also eligible condition is N/W 1 race last 20 who are N/W $75 per start in 2010-11. And he made them draw outside! Sheer brilliance. A very interesting card. Good luck.
Race 1: 1 Jetstream Cruising- Nicely-bred filly finally gets a post; 2 Love N Devotion- Another chance without the tag; 6 Royal Cam Osborne- Has yet to miss the board this year despite some bad luck.
Race 2: 9 Oceana Hanover- Drops below the level of her last win and appears five lengths the best; 1 Nico Mirabel- Should be on the ticket from the rail; 6 Silent Star- Was much better first time Tyler in last.
Race 3: 3 Scooter In Motion- Watch him on the track, he looked awful last time, but was good prior to that; Israeli Hall- Should be on the ticket from the rail; 7 A Firm Kisser- Just so I can say NW1L20 that are NW$75PS in ‘10-11. I love the Ayers Ratliff Special, and this time it’s a pace!
Race 4: 7 Beans And Weenies- Time off is a concern, but not a major one; 4 Odds On R J- May go forward 1st time Noble; 9 Noble Thought- Was more competitive last time, his first recently with Stahl; 1 Roman Knows Best- Almost lasted last time and should be on the super from here.
Race 5: 6 One Tough Night- Had exactly that Wednesday, broke when he seemed a winner; 2 Mickey Deez- Reunited w/Aaron who piloted him to his last win; 3 Corly’s Finale- usually does well with Noble.
Race 6: 3 Winsmith Delight- Slight call in a race where any of five can win; 2 Native Fate- Has beaten these two of last four; 7 C And C Hoorah- Inconsistent, but they opened up the class for him, why not.
Race 7: 6 Western Empire- Has some back class in a field with little to recommend it; 9 Red Star Buck- Shows a good line with Tyler three back; 3 Shannons Boy Scout- Starting to show some minor closes; 5 Bell’s Courier- Class relief drops him below level of last win, has not earned a nickel last five.
Race 8: 2 Contech- The only one who can beat Contech in this one is Contech, needs a flat mile; 1 Leanto Prayer- Back in at his best level; 5 Sunset Snip- May be the most consistent of these.
Race 9: 5 Toronado Mindale- May be sitting on a big mile off some recent decent efforts; 2 Coin Of The Realm- Should be on the ticket from this post; 4Varitek- showing signs of waking up, but rarely wins.
Race 10: 1 Phagus Hall- Super sharp and should win easily; 4 Gold Fever- The main competition provides a contrast in racing style; 2 Heez Ruthless N- Has a lot of back class, always tries, just not the horse he once was; 6 G Rod- Pitch the last race and he is right there with most of these.
Race 11: 7 He’s Fulla Chip- NW1L8 and class relief, post a question; 5 Cat’s Run- Tyler Smith for my buddy Greg Bartlett; 3 Redzilla- Is competitive with these, even though current form is a roller coaster.
Race 12: 1 Triggerhappyfellow- Noble and the rail should be the ticket; 4 Tooter Lane- Should have won last time, contender; 2 Panpoint Accuracy- Inconsistent, but may cut these fractions.
Race 13: 1 Red Heads Star- the call even with Noble choosing off; 3 Standin On A Beach- Needs to sustain his work; 7 Soul Redeemer- Plenty of back class, but form cycle is downward; 5 Bad Boy Bunny- Shows some solid lines against these, but not always.
