First post is 5:30. 16 races and basically a Saturday card. Best wishes for a joyous holiday and a happy, healthy and prsoperous New Year. I am taking a few days off and picks may be sproadic until January 7. (will defintiely have 12/26-27, though). Good luck. -Giss-
Race 1: 2 Lincoln N- Very consistent & should win from the two; 1 Shackleton Hanover- May be live after the drop; 6 The Libberteriann- Uncharacteristically passive in last, another chance.
Race 2: 9 Panpoint Accuracy- Seems to fit well for his return; 3 Western Eddie- Has generally drawn poorly, not tonight; 4 Hoosier Tiger- May need a local start, but has won here this year.
Race 3: 4 Andover Victory- Keeps winning over Andover, can handle move up; 9 Chips of Troy- Would love to get the 12-1 ML on him; 2 Jeff’s Night Out- Draws better & may contend.
Race 4: 3 Mainline Hall- Slight call in a very even group; 2 Heez Ruthless N- Always figures with an inside draw; 9 Vince The Man- Not thrilled with the 2nd tier, but he figures; 8 More Than A Song- Has ability, but an awful post.
Race 5: 3 Coras Grace- Has drawn worse than Jackson Pollock lately; 2 Three Five Seven- Slowly improving, consider; 7 Laughing Is An Art- Tons of back class, can he overcome post?
Race 6: 4 Genesis See Yah- AE moves in in great form, would love 10-1; 2 Magnificent Gift- Very consistent, but no recent wins; 5 Zipsnapndrop- Sharp, but a bit above his best level.
Race 7: 3 Moreland Flash- If he shows up like 12/7, he jogs; 2 Osborne’s Yankee- Always right there; 1 Egotistic Pro- Solid contender from the rail; 6 Soaring Viking- 1st time Deaton.
Race 8: 1 Udontwantnunofthis- Class relief and his bets draw in two months; 6 Conway Maid- Gets Merriman for 1st time & factors heavily; 4 Like A Lexis- Needs to race “Like aG6, like aG6.”
Race 9: 6 Bell Valley Indian- Has been almost perfect w/move to Rideout/A-rod; 2 Rapid City- Figures with his decent draw; 5 Dax Hanover- Moves back up, was decent in the class 1st time.
Race 10: 3 Wow Power- Slight call due to local starts; 4 Mm’s Shocking Guy- Racing well at Leb, may need a start; 2 Forever Friendly- Better post, maybe; 5 Buzz Hershey- Minor honors.
Race 11: 7 Katie’s Red Rose- Very sharp after a rest, best bet if she doesn’t bounce; 9 Noble Commander- May improve w/fresh hands; 8 Muscle Sprouts- Can he overcome the snowman?
Race 12: 9 Dance With Dan- Risky from the second tier; 6 Delivered Rules- Always does work, can repeat; 5 Expresso Forte- Another one who always tries, loss last time concerns vs. lesser.
Race 13: 5 Little Cam Can- A 1st time Nfld, watch him warm-up; 6 Noble Maximus- Aaron surprised by choosing off #9; 1 Jackson One- Razor sharp and the rail; 2 Meritage Hanover- Gets fresh hands.
Race 14: 3 Caramel Dumpling- Looked like his old self last week; 1 Forever Nugget- Major player form the rail; 8 Sharp Shuttle- Racing well, but well enough to overcome this draw?
Race 15: 1 Motorcycle Mike- No Kinnick tonight, rail helps; 4 Big George H- Was monstrous last time against lesser; 2 Samcin- Moves up in very good form.
Race 16: 6 Doowrah’s Deal- Class relief. Has gone good last 1/4s lately; 1 One Eyed Willie- Will be on the point, needs a breather; 3 Mr Kite- Deaton chose over #2, who I liked; 2 Expensive Western- Gets Noble in Elliot’s absence.
