Boxing Day Picks Sunday 12/26

Contrary to Bob and Doug Mackenzie's beliefs, Boxing Day is not paired up with Wrestling Day. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boxing_Day. If you have ever wondered, nobody really knows for sure how it got it's name. But it has nothing to do with Muhammad Ali (or even our own Vonda Ward.

I am on th e air and hope to have some cash left over after the holiday weekend. Good luck!

Race 1: 7 Cranberrys Keeper- Not wild about the post draw, but don’t like much else either; 4 Mutual Funs- I like him in this group, but he is 0-24 in’10; 3 Tropicante- Another with tons of back class, but current form is poor.

Race 2: 8 Bahama Bomber- Charlino chooses to the snowman, so will I; 3 Equinox Hanover- Class relief and a solid shot here; 1 Mcfriendly- Looking for that happy meal from this one.

Race 3: 2 Silent Star- Gets the good draw and should cruise on down the road; 9 Go Bodie Go- Caught an edge last time, consider; 5 Two Days Caseyc- 2nd tier break, another chance.

Race 4: 5 Sammy Osborne- Improving just a little; 7 Israeli Hall- Improving and still green; 3 Custard Pie- Fresh set of hands; 1 Miss Skippers Rose- Rail helps & Harris is warming up a bit.

Race 5: 1 Rose Run Luther- Cruised at basically the same level in his last; 9 Coriander Please- No Aaron, so Miller’s stuck with Charlino; 3 Valentinos Peace- More experience, but has leveled.

Race 6: 2 Royal Cam Osborne- One of these days, just like Empress; 1 Jetstream Cruising- Just two, with license to improve; 4 He Is Redneck- Gets a fresh set of hands.

Race 7: 4 Kaden- Not really a fan, but I see no other options; 5 Red Heads Star- fits but is just 1-42 this year; 1 Canaco Kubota- Races well when he draws inside. He does, he should; 2 C J Blaze- Could be better if he finishes strong, but still wraps the super.

Race 8: 9 Conductors Timeout- Broken equipment cost all chance, he is the class here; 3 He’s Fulla Chip- They opened up the class for him; 4 Ironclad Prenup- Gets Charlino.

Race 9: 1 Rudy- 1st time Charlino and the rail give him my call; 3 Magical-flash- 3rd start back & finally a post, poor current form, though; 6 Billy Bobs Scooter- Needs a well-timed move here.

Race 10: 1 Pan Au Chocolat- Should get a better trip here; 4 Picasso’s Dream- Dominated lesser in his last; 3 Bodandy Andy- The improved post makes him a factor; 5 Lucky Enough- Needed that last start. Very tempted to move him higher on this ticket.

Race 11: 1 Rhapwithtestars- Is she tight enough to hold off #4 for lead; 4 Justamere Princess- Got Lasix & looked like a different filly; 6 Pray To Me- Improved in 1st start for new connections.

Race 12: 9 Cherokee Ryder- Needed the last start after over 20 days off, sharper tonight; 6 Littlereb- 10-1 ML. As if; 5 Indy Red- May have bounced in last, or maybe it was post. 3rd back.

Race 13: 9 Nukes Fortunateson- Double class relief off a credible effort; 3 Real Honor- Can be his own worst enemy, but seem to be improving; 2 Travolta- Drops to the level of a dominant win six back; 6 Snows Bangert Boy- Two straight good efforts.
