Tuesday Thoughts

While I bask in the afterglow of Saturday's Public National Pick 4 score (my $48 play netted $1,846.60), I now must keep giving out winners to keep y'all happy. As an FYI, I am in the basement until next Tuesday's card, but should get picks posted at least for Friday and Saturday. Good Luck!

Race 1: 1 Dw’s Big D- Needs to stay flat, but has ability; 4 Ginny Ann Tonik- Has done a bit of work & faces another soft group; 5 Hooray For Hannah- Fresh horse is a legit angle in this class.

Race 2: 3 Lulu’s Durante- Very young, but starting to believe; 6 Broadway Blues- No idea what Duane has here, but he got a result in his debut; 7 It’s a Cinch- Changes hands and scenery off a qualifier that tells us little.

Race 3: 6 Hula Lu- Class relief and they opened up the race for her (and the #8); 2 Cruisin Sass-Has started to contend at the fairs, might here, as well; 5 Trickster’s Attack- Woke up with the first time Robin Miller angle last time. Consider.

Race 4: 4 I Like To Rhap- Gets a catch driver off a “big work,” mile, even if trip stunk; 9 Come Along Fred- Consistent and gets Charlino, but moves up out of his comfort zone; 3 Celebrity Yank- Needs a good trip; 5 Mysterious Speed- A big question mark coming off the sick scratch.

Race 5: 3 Scandalous- Fresh horse followed faster in the Q, value? 9 Madges Jackpot- Will be no value at all; 6 Royal Tattler- Wyatt chose off the #2, who was an original pick, so so did I.

Race 6: 4 Let’s Knock Lock It- Moves up off a stalking win, probably the best, but not much value; 3 Km Dream Kat- Does work most weeks and I would love the ML; 1 Red Raider- Always qualifies well, but seems to be afraid of the dark.

Race 7: 1 E C K- Stepped up big time last time and they opened the class for him; 4 Doowrah’s Deal- Racing well and is actually faster than the choice; 7 Whiteascanbe- Will be punished by the post, but has really turned things around; 6 Frenchies Pride- Faced similar at Scioto.

Race 8: 9 Extravagant Manner- He is his own worst enemy, a jogburger if flat; 5 Date Worthy- The recent breaks make her Date Worry for me; 2 Looks Like Speed- I’ve always liked him.

Race 9: 4 Abs Speedy Hall- Trainer change from Tim Miller to Fred Winstead, driver change form Tim Miller to Dan Charlino; 5 Valentinos Peace- Very sharp and is better than Abs on paper; 1 Willie N Blaze- Has generally faced better and has good tactical early speed.

Race 10: 4 Lima Ritch- Usually Sugg-ceeds with a catch driver; 3 Western Hoss- First back off the Q is a ? 9 Vilas Blue Chip- Can surprise at a big number; 6 Buzz Hershey- Best of the rest.

Race 11: 7 Artistic Tribute- 5 wins in last 6, each lowering his life mark, has lost only 3 times all year; 4 Dragon Fires K- Moves up off a great on-the-board streak; 3 Next Idol- Getting better.

Race 12: 1 Sadie Falcon- Just a feeling on this one for Robin; 3 Laredos Goose- Second start in the J.D. barn, couldn’t overcome a parked-mile in last; 6 Red Star Buck- Gets Charlino, okay?

Race 13: 5 Sparks A Cracking- Does good work, goes fast, but needs to sustain his move; 1 Jumping The Shark- Arthur Fonzarelli would be so proud; 6 Currently Flying- Charlino angle hurts his odds, but he fits; 9 Rabbitman- Showed improvement at Urbana.
