Race 1: 1 Casino Winner K- Needs to trot the mile, but gets Charlino, the rail and a relatively soft group; 2 Air Louie- Miserable draws have been the bane of his existence; 6 Diehl’s Deal- Negative post adjustment, but sharp.
Race 2: 4 Mainline Hall- Has been absolutely fried in his last two trips; 2 Goatcoat George Tm- Current form is suspect, but he gets the best available driver and a very soft group; 7 Terrific Bambino- Moves up a bit off two straight wins.
Race 3: 4 Fidelity Hanover- Finally, at 4, racing to expectations; 1 Lossofmemory- I forgot why I picked this horse; 5 The Count- That’s TWO horses I picked ahead of him & FIVE behind him.
Race 4: 2 Mcfriendly- Raced a lot better than the result shows first time Lasix in last; 1 Inquisitive Me- Quite possibly the worst string of recent draws ever; 3 Class Worker- Will he stay (close) or will he go (leave); 6 Dd Cam Ram- Class relief plus Charlino, but recent form P-U.
Race 5: 4 Intrepid Orion- Slowly learning what it’s all about; 2 Date Night K- Did Key send everything to Tye? 1 Scootin Jetta- Has a couple good recent results and a good draw here.
Race 6: 2 The Hef- We need to get another 100 yards out of him late; 1 Nobel Cristy- Spelling error or a peace prize, she gets Charlino; 9 Moira’s Intended- Harris chose over the #1 and #8.
Race 7: 3 Chocolate Crush- Drops below the level of his last win, but has shown little lately; 5 Grammas Guy- Never quite lived up to mom or his siblings; 4 The Swami- Showed improvement last time & could be there; 8 Yana Returns- Best results are with Charlino, but snowman hurts.
Race 8: 3 Glide Right- Very green seven-year-old could be anything. Man, I love Ohio racing; 4 Count On Kate- Consistently does work, needs to do more; 6 Corly’s Finale- Inconsistent one.
Race 9: 2 Extravagant Manner- Still makes breaks despite the straps, but rolls IF flat; 3 Lucky For Us- May improve with Wyatt piloting; 8 Udontwantnunofthis- Snowman vs. Charlino, which angle will win out?
Race 10: 3 Big Head Hundreds- Third back and Robin may move him forward; 1 Shady Sequel- Still waiting for Porkchop to score with this one; 6 Hoosier Lion- Awful lately, but drops and get Charlino; 4 Leach- I have no idea why.
Race 11: 5 Mulebarn Bob- Swift/Charlino has been lights out, if rare. Bank on it; 6 American Grace K- Has faced better, must trot the mile; 7 Lost Photo- Another class dropper in poor form.
Race 12: 6 Night Trouble- Not sure what he can do from this post, but not sure what any of these can do; 7 Phagus Hall- Will be overbet after his 1st win in 20 months, but a 31-second last panel worries me; 8 Bb Bunny Bell- Was absolutely flying late in his last, ignore at your peril.
Race 13: 4 I Believe Hoye- Amazing effort in last, similar wins this easily; 3 Molly Ref- Second in 2 of last 3; 1 Glasgow Gamer- Generally races well from inside; 5 Sweeping Pockets- Minor honors, even with Charlino.
