Race 1: 4 Wild Nordic- Break makes this one a risky prospect, but they did open up the class for her; 1 Excellent Caviar- Don’t see this group going 1:59 and she draws well for Cassidy; 6 Nora
S Dream T- Versatile and nearly always does good work.
Race 2: 1 Maria Sandrina- It took a few dozen starts, but she is now a race mare; 4 Super Sadie- Gets Deaton and is back in against green fillies; 7 Blueridge Magdalen- Post is the issue.
Race 3: 5 Date Worthy- As consistent (and ironic) as they come, easy call; 2 Peggy Spur- Does work, draws well, figures strongly; 1 Superstripe- If Lanny leaves from here, it may be over early.
Race 4: 7 Hillcrest Crystal- Moves up, but seems to have gotten her act together; 1 Ursula K- Sugg chose off, so Putney is stuck with Deaton (insert wink smiley here); 4 Deena- Gets a barn change and Sugg off a good win; 3 Radiant Star- Closing move may not “Stahl” tonight.
Race 5: 8 Alliance Hall- Eye-opening effort in last, seems able to overcome the draw, but the snowman has melted many hearts; 1 Yankee Coburn- Back at his best level; 2 Mr Fenton- Moderate closer has been doing a bit more work lately.
Race 6: 4 Laffy Taffy- Drops to level of last win & somebody has to win it; 1 Cole By A Knows- Winner ran off last time, but this one is fresh; 9 Lonehill Valvette- 1st time Charlino angle?
Race 7: 1 Lima Adore- Moves up, but is a 3rd start back angle; 2 Bullys Joni- Raced poorly the last time she drew well; 3 Back Home Again- Tries, usually. Could take these with little surprise; 6 She’s A Town Girl- Has been ineffective at this level.
Race 8: 2 Sister Kae- Fits well here and outdraws the competition; 8 C R Hope- Very nice mare is assigned outside, but may still find a way; 6 Emma Rose Ben- Won it last week.
Race 9: 4 Giulio- Have never been a fan, but his last two starts impressed the heck out of me; 2 Catherinethegreat- Three straight, a third of her career wins; 9 Not To Be Denied- May be from the second tier, a possible issue for this seven-year-old in his first year of racing.
Race 10: 1 Envy- She make it six of seven after tonight, cruises; 6 Caribean Cruise- Nice two-year-old should race better than she spells; 8 Silvers Luck- Ridiculously sharp, but two-in-a-row form the eight hole? 9 Stox Up Bluegrass- Always hangs around and should be on this super.
Race 11: 4 Jimi’s Little Wing- Nice Q & gets Charlino, who chose off 1/5/6; 6 Nf Wind Chimes- Has raced well & Sugg has driven her before; 1 My Sweet Lorelei- Waking up, gets rail & Stahl.
Race 12: 4 Dream Misty- The losing streak ends tonight; 9 Scooters Clan- Eligible at time of entry, but beaten eight+; 2Swift Samantha- Wyatt chose off this one to drive the nine.
Race 13: 3 Fun Lady- Has been improving & I need a longshot; 4 On The Money- Cruised last time Dan drove her; 2 Dappers Flash- Will be on the point, will she last? 5 Towner’s Big Sadie- Had no chance in last moving up from PP 8, now gets Stahl who has previous success with her.
