Saturday Stuff from The Giss

Hoping for a camera 3, so we can work from the winners circle (and no tux tonight, sorry boys and girls). A busy day beforehand, so I will be ready for a relaxing evening of cigars and harness racing. Good luck!

Race 1: 6 The Hef- Knocking on the door, he wins himself out with victory; 3 Blueridge Magdalen- Did good work, but couldn’t beat my choice 1st time tag; 4 Mcarty- Decent Canfield Q.

Race 2: 4 Cmon Blaze- Seems funny but 3-5 ML seems about right, he Q’d here in 58.4; 2 At Daybreak- It’s gonna be 4/12 or 4/21. Let’s try it this way; Moofalet- Improving and gets the rail.

Race 3: 5 Equalize- Looking for someone to beat him, but can’t find one, a suspect fave; 9 Candygram Sam- Freshened and a decent qually; 7 Houdini Sahbra- Did a bit of work in first seasonal trip and gets first time Charlino here.

Race 4: 3 Forever Friendly- Slight call in a very competitive group; 1 Iconic Style- Dan chose over 4 & 6, contender; 5 Gordie How- Back at his best level; 9 Blue My Mind- Racing very well.

Race 5: 5 Little Old Ladyhwo- Should have grabbed her for $5K when I had the chance; 2 Anastasia Willie- Becoming a complete racehorse for King Conger and Stahl; 1 Nora’s Dream T- Getting better with every start.

Race 6: 5 Mainline Hall- Game win in return to Sherman barn, repeater; 9 Kinnick- Returns to Winstead but moves up; 1 Heez Ruthless N- Usually in the mix, especially from the rail.

Race 7: 2 Caramel Dumpling- With speedsters outside, splits may be ridiculous & he can close into them. Sorry, Amy; 4 Delivered Rules- Consistent as they come; 7 Painted Speed- Watch the parade, pitch him if he is misbehaving.

Race 8: 4 Master Buckin Uhl- Better on Lasix, but not that impressive; 9 Mickey Deez- Back at level of last win, does 5/1 line look familiar? 1 Ilookliekvada- Must leave to have a chance.

Race 9: 7 Western Outfitter- Broken equipment last time, I give him another chance; 1 Major Degree- Must sustain his work; 2 Mcfriendly- Was off nearly a month & should be tighter tonight.

Race 10: 2 Intrepid Aries- I know Aaron chose off, so we get first time Charlino, more later; 4 Noble Cruiser- Never in it as the fave, another chance; 6 Polo Joe- Moves up in good form; 9 Tessallation- Has looked bad since claim, gets a barn change & Aaron, but I need to see a race.

Race 11: 3 Sam Has Class- Costly break, but has been doing solid work and fits well; 2 Red Raider- 3rd start back & gets a good draw; 1 Fessup Fred- Inconsistent, but figures with his best.

Race 12: 2 robin Dontget- Has been hanging around and I don not like the fave; 3 Winbak Len- Teaser is 1 of 17 and 0 of 5 since barn change; 4 Picasso’s Dream- Fresh set of hands in Stahl.

Race 13: 4 Goatcoat George Tm- Class relief may get him to the winners circle; 1 Apraks A Cracking- Faced better in local debut; 7 Salteas Sanjay- With trainer Ryan Angus in the sulky.

Race 14: 7 Stand N Shout- Monster mile with Charlino driving last time; 9 Gina Marie P- Races better on the front, but gets fresh hands; 1 Senator Lou- Needs to show a little gate speed and Aaron chose off, but… 2 Nuclear Cam- Returns to the track of his greatest success, a factor.
