Monday mania

Some bad horses, some good horses in bad form and some youngsters with potential. All in all a typical Monday night. Good luck.

EDIT: Monday Pick 5 Carryover is $703. Let's try a 2367/24/239/29/9 for a $48 play. Good luck

Race 1: 6 Norma’s Jewel- She will win eventually & seems best of these; 1 Lone Star Winner- Rail should help, but no horse to the left? 8 Lima Do N It- Has shown a bit, but snowman hurts.

Race 2: 2 Cruisin Delight- Improving and gets his best post since last year; 4 Ms Cruzin On Top- Had no chance in debut at this level, looking for value in a well-matched group; 9 Janice’s Scarlett- Aaron chose this one over the rail horse, which on paper surprises.

Race 3: 2 Count Dracula- Kurt must get him away from the gate better than the trainer did; 3 Conductors Timeout- Not very consistent right now, but is right there with his best; 7 Sam Has Class- And he has Aaron, but he has no post position and will be far back early.

Race 4: 2 Lightiscape- Post draw could be the key, but he will not be a suitable price; 4 Zeuss’s Spirit- Has done some work in 3 of his last 4; 5 Nl Nuclearmedicine- Raced well last time Stahl drove (am I desperate here or what?); 8 Constantinoble- Like the horse but snowman hurts.

Race 5: 2 Dees Bomber- Drops to the level of an easy win and gets a fresh set of hands; 3 Km Dream Kat- Fresh and nearly lasted in his debut; 9 Lookslikefire- Has shown flashes, how will he deal with the 2nd tier.

Race 6: 9 Pace- Has done work for Henry and could be on the block; 2 Moira’s Intended- First time Merriman; 8 Alluring Bunny- Should improve in second local start.

Race 7: 9 Vaniscape- Same post, same class, same driver as winning last effort; 6 Dalcroft Toby- Two good efforts since moving up to this level; 1 Roman Knows Best- Has speed and there’s no place better than the rail for that; 5 Dalcroft Toby- Form is improving, consider.

Race 8: 3 Scoremania- Gets a fresh set of hands, so let’s take a chance; 9 He’s Fulla Chip- Showed signs of waking up last time; 2 Betta Ona Freddie- Had no chance from the snowman, dropping to this level.

Race 9: 5 French Attack- Charlino chooses this one over the 3 and 4; 2 Cinnamon Road- First Time Aaron may be the key; 6 Rd Rustler- Class dropper might benefit from a catch driver.

Race 10: 6 Spit Happens- Open trotter moves back up after a dropdown win; 4 Double A- Another open trotter in cheap, but he must finish strong; 9 Anastasia Willie- Moves back up and is fast enough if he trots twice around; 2 Hogue’s Rockie- Must sustain work form this good post.

Race 11: 9 No Risk- Tough trip in drop to this level, another chance; 1 Up Front Andre- Class and post relief may have him Koching; 2 Rich Man Poor Man- Should easily be on this ticket.

Race 12: 2 Come Along Fred- Back at a level where he is very good, especially with Aaron; 9 Fortune King- Consistent on-the-board finisher; 3 Wyatt- Class relief may help him, consider.

Race 13: 2 Equalize- Has been awful, but gets a drop to the bottom and Aaron, may win on memories alone; 1 Dragon Seeker- Gets the rail and fresh hands in J.D.; 9 Odds On R J- As consistent as Cleveland Indians; 5 Caramel Conquest- Interests me off his start two back.

I haven't checked out Northfield Park yet. I'm a Freehold bettor and LOVE the half mile tracks. I do well there. An aside, a young driver that wants to make a name for him/herself should go to Pompano Park. All the drivers there are either crooked or senile. They sit when they should pull and they take back when they should leave.
