Friday filly follies

A cold blast (did they really say wintery mix possible) could alter track conditions (and my handicapping decisions) for this card, but there are a few that are pretty formful here.
I have broken one of my cardinal rules not once, but twice on this card, picking horses that have not picked up a check of any kind in their last five (sounds like my buddy Paul, ne never picks up a check). But they are dropping down so low that they must be considered. Sometimes, even the age old rules we have lived with beed to change. Now, if these horses eat my cash, I will be back to the rule. If not, and we get some winners, we will look at it on a case by case basis in the future.

Update: PICK FIVE CARRYOVER IS $936- Let's take a shot with a small play-- 139/45/3 (singling Dynastar)/49/456= $36

Race 1: 6 Ritzy Rip- A slight call to Stahl’s choice in a competitive group; 1 Miss Katie Lane- First time Charlino, but it’s because Ryan chose the 6; 3 Date Worthy- Solid contender with a falt mile, the value?

Race 2: 9 Candy Apple Miss- Breaking my own rule a couple times this weekend, hasn’t made a nickel last 5, but has been in tough; 2 Blue Time Ice Lady- Was better in her local debut, a contender; 3 N L Solar Wind- Consistent, but needs to do a bit more work.

Race 3: 9 Sara’s Lil Sis- In an awesome form cycle, ride the crest; 1 Icu Roller- Super sharp and will be the fave; 3 Fantastic Fran- Not as versatile as the tip two picks.

Race 4: 5 Fun For Eva Mo- Beat me last week, so she will probably lose tonight; 4 Bullys Joni- Tough 2nd tier trip last time; 3 Jenabell- Faces better, but current form is solid; 9 Redmeansgo- Won’t be as effective from the second tier.

Race 5: 3 Dynastar- Maybe Aaron will be enough to get her home, last week’s trip was hellish; 1 Naughty Maude- Mapes chose over my top pick, I disagree; 4 Manbretta- Could be anything.

Race 6: 9 Whoville- Sharp in return & should roll this lesser group easily; 4 Lady Of The Dragon- Fits well & Ryan has a pedigree; 3 Scoot To The Top- Good work at this level last time.

Race 7: 4 Doowrah Silver- Class drop off two lines where she shows good work; 6 Happy Occasion- Third back and may be ready based on last; 5 Eagle Creek Beauty- Drop to the bottom should help; 7 Day Glow- Post is a major issue for her.

Race 8: 2 Coras Grace- Massive class relief, but another one who hasn’t earned a nickel recently; 9 Broadway Petera- Racing much better of late; 4 Janica- Must sustain her work.

Race 9: 3 Done It All- A hunch she’s sitting on a big effort; 6 Rose Run Idelle- Aaron jumped off the five when Robin chose off this one to the three; 2 Lucky For Us- Rarely wins, just 3 for 97 career.

Race 10: 3 Lima Adore- First time Charlino and a good draw; 1 Bigaffairintown- Usually in the cover flow, needs to do more work once there; 5 Polo Aub- Koch chooses off so Cox is stuck with Merriman. Darn the luck; 2 Boy Killer- Third back and a bit better post, may improve.

Race 11: 1 Shelbys Muneymaker- Never saw a pylon last week & was still 2nd; 2 Passing Lane Penny- Classy, honest mare fits with these; 8 Lavish Liz- Monster Q, but gets the snowman.

Race 12: 4 Gram Of Gold- Racing very well right now, but no value; 7 Silvers Luck- Races well for Charlino, improved post from last; 3 Paint Wheel- Perhaps a wakeup call last week? Watch.

Race 13: 3 Pamela Lou- Reunited with Stahl, but results at this level are questionable; 9 Tucson Lace- On the ticket, not much more, but Dan chose over the 5-2 ML choice; 7 I Dream Of Kara- Gets class relief here, but questions abound; 2 Chocolate Fudge- Gets a piece with this draw.
