$70K in prizes, including that Chevy Silverado Pickup that someone WILL win. Everybody gets an instant prize (with paid admission) worth between $5-$37. ANd some highly bettable races. I'm kind of hoping the Pick 5 does not get hit Friday, leaving us with a big carryover for a hittable Pick 5 Saturday. Santa will be doing the on air picks as he unwinds before his big night.
Many winners to all, and to all a Good Night.
Race 1: 3 Slick-as-sleet- Sharp as ever & gets Aaron; 9 Medoland Kendall- Huge class drop. Will she roll or crash & burn? I’ll split the difference; 6 Imagine Freedom- Does well for Page.
Race 2: 2 Baba S- Raced well first time Page in last, draw is huge; 3 Genna- Another one who races well when drawing well; 1 Mapley- Should be better in second local start.
Race 3: 5 Kzul Sx Bluegrass- Ultra sharp right now & nobody here can beat him; 1 Standing Room- Big class drop & a rail, worth considering; 9 Medoalnd Tess- Class-dropper’s form is off.
Race 4: 1 Encil- Beaten by a bearcat last time, should break through here; 4 Romances Thunder- Back at his best level, one more chance; 5 Liftoff Bayama- I love 1st time Cahrlino horses; 7 The Long Goodbye- Prolly the best horse, but not effective from outside. Use caution.
Race 5: 7 Krissy K- Looks for #20 and could well get it, watch her price, there are other good ones in here; 1 Strategic Win- Needs to trot leaving the switch and could easily win; 5 Seaworthy- Never races badly, must use on the ticket somewhere.
Race 6: 1 Sunset Ball- Has drawn miserably and now gets Aaron for trainer Tye; 6 Awesome Abe- On the verge of breaking through; 5 Robin Dontget- Has improved under Zelenak’s care.
Race 7: 3 Yoo Hoo Bunny- Current form suspect, but gets a bit of a soft group; 6 Zakman- Faces easier & has Swartz for the first time recently; 4 Spellbinder- In tough, but I keep coming back to him; 1 Osborne’s Bullet- Needed post relief but still a start or two away from best.
Race 8: 4 Striking Genius- Back at a level where he is solid; 2 Taco Chip- Incondidtent, but must consider in here; 3 Son Of A Spur- A hard one to handicap, but post is decent. A shot.
Race 9: 4 Winbak Hotshot- Draws into a comparatively soft group of $8s; 3 Elm Grove Gerson- 54.4?! Contends with a similar effort; 2 Chang Dynasty- Another sharp class jumper.
Race 10: 2 Camcoder- Painted Speed has further to come tonight and it’s not like he raced badly; 5 Lite Me Up- Always right there; 1 Perfect Door- Lucks out with the rail, now perhaps he trips out again; 3 Up front Guy- Monster mile in last, but Aaron chose to Camcoder.
Race 11: 4 Dunkster- Has raced well off a layoff in the past, form good; 7 Chust Chudy- Solid win over similar in last; 5 Giulio- Is very good when he shows up, which is about half the time.
Race 12: 2 Tessallation- These $8s are light-years deeper than the other split, a slight call; 4 Fox Valley Flyby- Must use on ticket; 5 Now Really- Slight call over Equalize in balanced field.
Race 13: 3 Uncle Josh- Moves up & will go forward for Sherman/Stahl and Uncle Josh; 1 Seth Bullock- Gets the rail & Charlino. DAN, LEAVE WITH HIM! 5 A J Cress- Must use on ticket.
Race 14: Capricous Art- What’s not to like? 9 Toronado Mindale- Forget the last, he fits with these; 2 Brandon’s Art- Stuck with Merriman as Dan C chooses off, class drop; 6 Vilas Blue Chip- Beat these in last, but was not awe inspiring.
