Monday mania

With the new Players Club Instant Win Promotion, I will be back and forth between the studio and the game table, so you may no tget the usual "in-depth" anlaysis you are used to tonight. Good luck.

Race 1: 5 Laser Bay- Hasn’t shown much since the Q, but faces far softer here; 6 Incredibly Fast- 3rd start for JG, showed improvement in last; 3 Doc Otis- Will lead early, but not at the end.

Race 2: 2 Matt-scoot-n-bunny- Has been consistent and went forward for Swartz 1st time; 3 Quickpop- 1st time tag of a good effort against straight maidens; 7 Battleshoe Mac- Will pas some late and fits well here.

Race 3: 7 Salute To Victory- Has been very good when minding her manners for the Hamlets, should beat these; 5 Sisternevertrails- Races well for Robin and is a player; 4 Mario’s Schatzi- Keeps hanging around and must be used in trifectas at the very least.

Race 4: 6 Spirit Freeluck- Wildly inconsistent, but it may not matter against these; 5 Sold American- Has had success here and that’s a nice Lancaster line; 2 Roaring River- Post is the key to Melloy contending with him; 1 Amati- Gets the rail & has closed now and then for Koch.

Race 5: Goldsturm- Amateur driver to Kurt Sugg gets this one home on top; 3 Mystical Wildfire- Improving for his new connections; 9 Same Page- Has ability, I’m not wild about 2nd tier.

Race 6: 1 Quick Way Hall- Class drop, rail in nw$600L5 are big; 2 Allamerican Magic- Another class dropper gets third-back angle; 9 Mike’s Heir- Not sure how he fits, but worth a shot.

Race 7: 4 Chisum- As cheap as he has raced in awhile; 6 Bus Fare- Drops down and I slightly raced; 1 Varitek- Should be forward early from here; 8 Constantinoble- Snowman kills his chance to win, but he is the class of this field with a trip.

Race 8: 2 Charming Comer- Lukewarm call in a lukewarm group; 6 Dummy Jones- Gets class help after getting knocked out in last, I think he still needs a start; 9 Presto Pegasus- If he trots.

Race 9: 3 Musical Dream- Has been facing far better and may be sitting on a big mile; 2 Filly Power- Well-connected trotter can contend and always does work; 9 Four Starz Motor- Last ¾ in 1:28.4 in the maiden win. Upside?

Race 10: 4- Look Both Ways- 2nd start back off the layoff and gets an easier group; 5 Brynee’s Lot N- Can’t pick him to win at 0-23, but is racing well; 2 Art’s Baker- Usually does work, but doesn’t finish well; 6 Toronado Mindale- Also eligible has a shot in here and may be a value.

Race 11: 5 So Fly- Has been generally solid this year, a slight call; 4 Oh Joy- Just a hunch in a well-matched group; 9 Paintedfromemory- Very green and more upside (perhaps) than the rest.

Race 12: 5 Conductors Timeout- Drops to the level of his last win, but hasn’t had much pop lately; 9 Glasslite- Has faced much better and closed well in his last; 1 Tropicante- Has the rail and good early speed.

Race 13: 6 Swing Plane- Was a good 2nd last time at this level, can win here; 4 Happy Hylight- Cover just hasn’t helped, another chance; 5 Engine Hanover- Should get a good check here, but is 0-32 in ’09; 1 Red Heads Star- Gets the rail for the other J.D.
