Saturday Spooky Stuff

No Halloween costume this year...or is there? Hopefully more treats than tricks on the card. See you live at Northfield while Bianconi soaps windows, err, trick-or-treats with his kids.

Race 1: 2 Town Toots- A lukewarm call as Aaron chose her over 6/7; 1 Kailey’s Spitnfire- Big close into a “speedy 1:04.1 2nd lap in last; 3 Woodmere Camilla- Also benefited from fractions.

Race 2: 2 Scooters Clan- Class dropper draws well for Angus; 3 Red Hott Alert- Excuse the last and she figures; 9 Panini- Improving and could be on the ticket.

Race 3: 1 Yankee Coburn- Stalking win in last and could get a similar trip for fast Greggy; 5 Vegas Volcano- Tons of back class off a long layoff and may be sitting on a big mile for Oldford; 8 Double A- Just a hunch.

Race 4: 1 Lolas Cruiser- 3 straight bad trips & he gets a trip here, plus Lasix; 3 Key Western- Class dropper’s form has leveled, but contends with his best; 5 Roger The Savage- Racing at his best level, can pick up pieces; 8 Zakmkan- Beat these last time, but gets the snowman tonight.

Race 5: 2 Category Six- Class of the group should get a perfect trip behind the one; 1 Medoland Tess- Racing well, but is not an Open pacer; 9 Friday Nite Lights- Current form awful, but the movie’s theme song, Your Hand In Mine, came on the radio while I was ‘capping this one. Karma.

Race 6: 2 Chain Of Command- I’ll take a chance in a wide-open affair; 5 The Long Goodbye- Beat these last time; 1 Now Really- Moves up but has been impressive, generally.

Race 7: 2 Winbak Hotshot- Ignore the Indy lines, look at the Nfld lines at the bottom, jogs; 3 Romance’s Thunder- Streaky one is moving up in good form; 7 Chang Dynasty- Downgrade due to break and bad post; 9 Happy Riggs- recent form not enough, back class might be.

Race 8: 6 Balata- Eherenberg can outclose these; 7 Blastaway Sahbra- $779K in earnings that’s as much as Zahn’s pocket change; Quikmaster- I’ll shout out to a trotter who double heats!

Race 9: 9 Samsawinner- Nice Hotton trotter can overcome 2nd tier; 3 Bologna Lips- Racing well, just not winning much; 2 Celebrity Yank- Stahl’s choice over the rail horse fits with these.

Race 10: 6 Dickie Tad- Has been awesome since returning to the Flying Turns; 2 Dart Trick- Inconsistent, but back at a level where he can contend; 4 Eagle Creek Patrol- Does work, needs to do it at the right time; 3 Major Venue- Showed some quality here two back.

Race 11: 4 Master Wheels- Class relief for the dirty one’s charge, but he’s no lock; 3 Oneforthemaster- Very good now that he is trotting the mile; 1 Strategic Win- Gets an early lead.

Race 12: 5 Diamond Hunter- Boxing the top three who are head and shoulders above the rest; 4 One Sharp Spur- Greenos are underrated in these parts; 6 Classical Man- Post may be an issue but he is undefeated here this year for Slippery Bill Bercury.

Race 13: 2 Polo Joe- What can Brown do for you today? Get us a winner; 9 Townline Powerful- Super sharp, 2nd tier the issue; 4 Knockout Sahbra- Deaton’s choice over the 3, enough for me.

Race 14: 1 Exceptional Toy-Moves up off a 14+length romp, I might be able to drive him tonight and win; 2 Buttercup Bob- Has shown flashes and gets Aaron; 3 City Dragon- Joey’s choice over the 5 and 8; 6 Blue My Mind- Big close in last and has been doing better work.
