Cleveland Classic Card Predicitons, err Handicapping Picks

Palone...Tetrick...Dave Miller. Top drivers, just like the old days. Unfortunately, not many horsemen jumped on any of them although Timmy T could easily triple. I will be "tuxed" into the winners circle, so stop by and say hello and remember to bring your Mystery Voucher!

Good Luck

Race 1: 4 Raider Time- Moves to a red-hot barn & sould go forward; 3 Cinderella Blue- My original pick, but Aaron chose off; 6 Red Hott Alert- Always hands around the ticket.

Race 2: 9 High Gear Speed- Trip didn’t work out last time, another chance here; 3 Baba S- Best post in awhile & as been closing well; 1 Illusion Offreedom- Class relied and a rail should help.

Race 3: 3 Mr Orchard Street- Best post in two months and monstrous class drop; 2 Guile’s Boy- Moves up, but has been caught in some fast miles; 4 Kzul Sx Bluegrass- Inconsistent one.

Race 4: 5 Chang Dynasty- Tough break in last, class relief despite decent form, is that a red flag? 2 Encil- Lasted well in last, will take more pressure here; 4 Slide Lock- Very consistent and fits with these; 3 Red Cloud Rising N- Usually races well when he draws well.

Race 5: 9 Taco Chip- Impressive win against similar in last; 4 Stonebridge Romeo- Trip just didn’t cut it last time; 1 Iknowhatboyslike- Can she step up off after an unlikely claim?

Race 6: 6 Uncle Josh- Would have won last but for “I”, another chance; 4 Slade Gram- Class dropper’s form is suspect, back class isn’t; 2 Delivered Rules- Big effort after being off 3 weeks.

Race 7: 5 Tessallation- Has raced well since coming in from Indy, the call; 7 Painted Speed- Stahl is off Seth Bullock to drive this one, which surprised me; 6 Seth Bullock- Way up in class, but yet to bet tested; 9 Oh My Sam- Consistent soph gets Tetrick & that makes him a must use.

Race 8: 4 Mj’s Victory- Got my call with Swartz driving, Timmy T just hurts the price; 1 Strategic Win- Likes this surface better than Batavia’s; 2 Super Jenny- Can contend with her best.

Race 9: 4 Striking Genius- $6200 Delaware buy paid immediate dividends for new connections; 7 Extreme Makeover- Tough break in last; 6 Samsawainner- Nice soph trotter can contend.

Race 10: 4 Ron Jeremy- Racing as well as he has in a year right now; 5 Shell I Attack- Relief off a win, can she beat the boys? 9 Passing Lane Penny- Has been doing good work and should be forward early; 1 Zakman- Moves up, but gets another rail which helps with his speed.

Race 11: 1 Unrecognized Saint- Trust me, I recognize him after last week’s move- check the video if you can; 3 Camcoder- In a reasonable post for a change; 5 Category Six- Just a hunch.

Race 12: $160,000 Cleveland Classic: 4 Sheer Desire- Has beaten If I Can Dream twice in a row and looked fresher in the Windy City; If I Can Dream- Could easily prove me wrong, still sharp; 3 Vertical Horizon- Only real angle in the race with first time Dave Miller; 6 Bob Watts- 52.2 at Delaware means he can go with these, but it’s a big step up. May get the trip he needs.

Race 13: 4 Winbak Hotshot- On a roll, keep riding it; 1 Equalize- Starting to get his legs back under him; 3 Depravedhedonist- Has always liked this racetrack, but may need a local start.

Race 14: 3 Take Five- Beat the $8s four back, but bad posts have taken their toll; 4 Chain Of Command- Beat these with a solid effort in last; 5 Nuclear Cam- Was flying late and gets Charlino again; 7 The Long Goodbye- Drops out of the eight claimers and should contend.
