Saturday stuff

Finally back in synch with my sleep cycles and after watching March Madness Go ahead and sue me NCAA). Cashed all three of my bets on Thursday- all dogs, but my bracket got crushed. Hopefully a good weekend at the windows and an even better three days of the tourney. Here are the Saturday picks. Good luck.

Race 1: 6 Chang Dynasty- Charlino chooses Chang. Cha-ching; 3 Vince The Man- My initial pick until Dan ducked to Dynasty; 2 Caramel Dumpling- Nice not to need a new line each race- will be flying late.

Race 2: 4 Sparks Of Gold- Big class drop after doing work against better; 1 Houdini Sahbra- Always contends, never wins; 8 Powerchord- A hunch. He should change from a Telecaster to a Stratocaster.

Race 3: 1 Giulio- Came from way back, we get a 3rd back & baby’s got back; 6 Indiana Hanover- Moves up off an average effort but gets Aaron; 8 Iknowwhatboyslike- We will find out how good she is here.

Race 4: 2 The Long Goodbye- Tends to race well when he draws well. He does, he should; 5 Osborne’s Yankee- Third back, but hasn’t shown enough to top the ticket; 1 Oh Gee Whiz- Must be aggressive from the gate to stay interested; 8 Delivered Rules- Form returns, snowman hurts him.

Race 5: 5 Jenna’s Dream- Rare break broke the streak, another chance; 4 Country Creek- Very, very consistent; 2 Big George H- Beat these last time and I may put him on top if the price is right.

Race 6: 1 J D’s Turismo- Road worries in last and now gets the rail; 5 Cruise On Osbone- Third back, but hasn’t shown enough to top the ticket; 2 Worries Stay Small- Back at the level of a win two back.

Race 7: 1 Special D- Looked pretty special in his first start for Hollar; 2 Expresso Forte- Has tactical speed, but may be a start or two away from his best; 9 Avenue A- Seems to be improving; 6 Magnificent Gift- J.D. chose off.

Race 8: 3 Jack Maverick- Aaron chose over the 4 & 5, which surprised me; 6 No Risk- Gets the eligible-at-time-of-entry tag & must consider; 1 Lima Jag- Faces much softer after a very nice soph season finish.

Race 9: 2 Broadway Fame- Has been as dependable as Rita Moreno on the Great White Way; 4 Dakotas Bridgeman- What’s not to like? 6 Westedge Matt- Very solid, but moves a bit farther outside.

Race 10: 7 Epes- Drops to the level of a dominating win six back; 1 Ron Jeremy- Could key your Pick Four-play; 5 Capricious Art- Gets an ETE and we can consider him as a result; 9 Ge’s Antonio- Wildly inconsistent, your guess is as good as mine.

Race 11: 5 Gramma’s Guy- Very consistent and only recent win was with Aaron driving; 1 Upfront red River- No chance in last from the snowman, has speed; 2 Buzz Hershey- For minor honors.

Race 12: 3 Bodandy Andy- Super sharp and is my best bet; 4 Tactical Dreamer N- Tough trip last time, another chance; 6 Dd Cam Ram- Always streaky and in a positive form turn right now.

Race 13: 2 Gyraider- Eligible-at-time-of-entry and may actually see a pylon this time; 1 Next Idol- Has drawn worse than a kindergartner in art class, rail is huge; 4 Mr Ahhh- Should compete for a piece of this one; 5 Artistic Dreamer- Was awful prior to last, may be on t he upswing.
