Let's be brutally honest. I have never been happier that I do not have to go on the air and say nice things about this group. There could be four 1-5 winners, but the rest you might as well get out a dart board. Good luck.
Race 1: 4 Up Front Pattys Boy- Was facing much better, will the odds justify a ready 1st asking play; 5 Gatekeeper- Good first local effort; 6 One Tough Night- Seems an apropos pick on this particular card.
Race 2: 1 Express Messenger- 0 for ’10-11, but has about won as many career as the rest combined; 3 Diva Two- Consistent maiden may go forward; 7 Playing To Win- Class dropper gets call w/better post.
Race 3: 5 Hel Low Helen- Back down to a level where she is very good;2 Love N Devotion- Very consistent, but winless lifetime; 8 On The Shady Side- Racing well, but hampered by the snowman.
Race 4: 4 Miss Kilowat- Trainer Shetler calls on Noble; 2 Towner’s Big Sadie- Racing better than the rest of these right now; 6 My Sweet Lorelei- Always hang around, rarely wins; 8 Evere And A Day- Eligible at time of entry, but don’t see her winning from the snowman.
Race 5: 1 Forever To The Top- Class relief, the rail and Noble again; 4 Tactical Dreamer N- Was credible at Maywood, consider; 2 Search The Falcon- Needs to finish his miles better.
Race 6: 4 Pan Au Chocolat- Returns the barn of his great success; 6 Ata At- Gets class relief and usually does some work; 2 Mr Ahhh- Has some back class and gets his best post in months.
Race 7: 3 Legacy Chip- Sharp as a tack and should roll on; 4 Kernel Corn- Eve though Noble chose off; 6 Krissy K- Starting to regain some of the magic; 2 Extravagant Manner- Must use on this ticket.
Race 8: 2 Powerful Cam- At least he has some wins in the last year; 5 Real Sexy- Needs to sustain his work for a change; 8 Houdini Sahbra- Always a bridesmaid, never a bride.
Race 9: 1 Shady Attack- Best post in ages and not much to beat here; 6 She’s All Country- Gets in as a NW1L8; 2 Moira’s Intended- Decent win, first time Noble in last one.
Race 10: 4 Diehl’s Deal- Looks for four in a row against a competitive group; 5 My Mystique- Hasn’t broken through, but is solid at this level; 6 Mystical Ways- Was fried by the trip moving up in last; 1 Filigreed- Must consider from the rail.
Race 11: 1 Littlereb- Is clearly the best of these from the rail, even moving up; 3 Get And Gone- Now chance moving up last time with that draw; 2 Robin Dontget- Moves up off a pretty solid win.
Race 12: 1 Getrichordietrying- Beat these from the six hole and now is an ETE rail horse; 3 Ballad Seelster- Does a bit of work, but must do more for serious consideration; 6 Stox Up Bluegrass- Off to a rough 2011 start, but I have always liked him.
Race 13: 1 Dvc Havalittlehart- Just one of those crazy hunches in a race devoid of playable horses; 4 Fun Lady- Probably a couple starts away from her best; 5 French Worker- 3 for 83 lifetime,’nuff said; 9 Electric Highlight- Form may be leveling off, but she does draw inside, albeit second tier.
