Saturday Stuff

Supposed to be a beautiful night. Hopefully I wil be fully recovered and in the winners circle. Picking some value at times good luck and let's talk.

Race 1: 6 Red Phoenix-Class relief, has done good work & gets Merriman, Yep. 1 Samovar Hanover- How high up the ladder will he go? Aaron chose off; 2 Varitek- Best form in awhile.

Race 2: 4 Domi Racer- Charlino is no Simeon Hundson, but I think this one has a chance; 1 Sandblast- Racing well with Aaron driving; 8 Anastasia Willie Snowman hurts, but he can close.

Race 3: 6 One Sharp Spur- The effort I’ve been expecting last week, moves up, but handles it; 3 R Cowboy- Very consistent and figures here; 2 Near The Limit- May need a start on the half.

Race 4: 6 Sharp Shuttle- Tough trip last time, not sure it will be much better tonight; 1 Medoland Tess- Much better form the rail; 3 Zakman- Consistent and fresh hands with Sugg choosing off; 9 Egotistic Pro- Not sure how he will contend with the second tier start.

Race 5: 1 Shackleton Hanover- Post is most on Saturday night; 5 Jackson One- Sophomore can go forward and has ability; 4 Tiger’s Destiny- Stahl-Williams is a lights out combo.

Race 6: 1 Bit O Looks- Won the class 2 back, dropped, won, back up & a rail? Are you kidding me? 3 Lipey- Always hangs around, consider; 6 Dunkster- Hope he’s recovered from 1-hole flu.

Race 7: 5 Auto Pilot- Easily beat these last time; 9 Osborne’s Yankee- Starting to get his legs under himself locally; 1 Depravedhedonist- Loves this track and so does the horse. Welcome home, Kim; 4 Monkey Off My Back- Yeah, I guess the first start with Lasix was okay.

Race 8: 4 Maginificent Gift- Faces tougher, but I think he can handle them; 3 Won Nite In Vegas- A bit soft in last, track condition? 1 Artistic Dreamer- Major factor from rail with Aaron.

Race 9: 3 Blue My Mind- Aaron’s choice over #2/5/8 gets my call, too; 4 Step By Step- Another chance, in tough, but I think snowman hurt more; 2 Intrepid Aries- Loses A-rod, gets Charlino.

Race 10: 1 The Long Goodbye- Second start back home and a better draw; 7 Kinnick- Hard knocking claimer has to overcome his post; 3 Soaring Yankee- Indy horses may need a local start and may be overclassified a bit at first; 9 Laughing Is An Art- trips out for a small piece.

Race 11: 2 Caramel Dumpling- His final quarters are highly entertaining; 7 Hansum Eclipse- Hasn’t exactly been lights out, but figures; 4 Moreland Flash- Sort-of barn change & fresh hands.

Race 12: 2 Gordie How- I really tried to get him beat her, but how? 9 Cunning Design- Charlino and third back, but the first two were blah; 1 C J Blaze- Barn change off several decent efforts.

Race 13: 9 Sam’s Delight- Class relief gets him home in competitive field; 5 Toronado Mindale- Trip killed him on the drop, another chance; 7 Samcin- Arguably in the best form of these.

Race 14: 1 Special D- If he’s 7-5, I will do something really odd on the air. Best Bet; 2 Gyraider- Putney’s doing a good job with him; 9 Zipsnapndrop- Ultra sharp, but faces some toughies; 3 Fueled N Waiitng- Beat these from PP9 last time and will probably wreck my exacta and trifecta.
