Tonight, I am using several horses coming off lame scratches. I have the night off. But for you, it is CRITICAL to watch these horses warm up (usually a couple races before their race- 6th race horses usually warm-up after the third, for example)and int he post parade. If you do not like the way the look, take a pass. Good luck!
Race 1: 3 Travolta- Has done decent work +I watched Grease last night; 6 Hillcrest Crystal- Poor efforts last 2, but generally awful posts; 2 Varitek- Showing consistency, if not a lot of work.
Race 2: 3 That Fly’n Angel- No “man,” will beat her tonight; 4 Anastasia Willie- Trainer drives and that may not be bad; 7 Credit Press- Has shown little off the claim, a shame he is assigned.
Race 3: 3 Happy Hylight- Has been pretty solid for Charlino; 4 Blue Time Overdrive- Woke up with the drop, moves back up a bit here; 1 Intrepid Aries- Aaron’s choice over 5 & 6, who figure.
Race 4: 6 Zipsnapndrop- Best draw in a month and has been huge; 3 Sam’s Delight- Had excuses last two, fits well; 5 Magnificent Gift- Aaron chose the 2, but I’m gonna take a chance; 7 Asbury Juke- Gets class relief but can’t win unless Southside Jonny drives.
Race 5: 3 One Sharp Spur- Best draw since he got here, easy winner; 2 Peach Me- Contends at big # if she’s right, watch her warm-up and post parade; 9 Sassy Marvel- Moves up off two wins.
Race 6: 5 Little Gary Perry- Game effort is an understatement, used hard twice and just missed; 4 Osborne’s Yankee- In comparatively soft; 2 Egotistic Pro- Raced well in this class last time.
Race 7: 2 Soul Redeemer- Loves this racetrack and having that Merriman guy doesn’t hurt; 1 Pan Au Chocolat- Sugg’s choice over #3; 3 Motorcycle Mike- Beat these with huge trip in last.
Race 8: 5 Master Wheels- Faces a bit lesser & could get the win; 6 Presto Pegasus- Ran into a sharp one last week; 2 Over Spurred- Another risky call off a lame scratch. Watch the warm up.
Race 9: 4 Caramel Dumpling- Will fly late and can get by these; 7 Chang Dynasty- Drew inside of the assigned “winners-over.” 8 Delivered Rules- Racing well & may overcome the snowman.
Race 10: 7 Sharp Shuttle- Moves up but looks pretty legit to me; 3 Auto Pilot- Will be better with nose on the gate; 4 Ideal Ticket- Moves up but gets 1st Charlino; 9 Category Six- Got shuffled last time, needs proper cover flow here.
Race 11: 5 Yoo Hoo Bunny- Has raced well here in the past; 3 Dickie Tad- Flies late & fits class well; 9 Lucky Jackpot- Has shown much more in his last few, consider from despite 2nd tier.
Race 12: 2 Special D- 3-5 morning line? More like 1-5, despite being winless in ’10; 4 Artistic Dreamer- Woke up w/Aaron, will Robin keep him up? 1 Mister Briunski- Rail helps immensely.
Race 13: 1 Liftoff Bayama- As soft as he’s raced for awhile & gets rail; 6 Tracy- Aaron chose over #9, but he may need a local start; 8 Champagne Bliss- Charlino finds a way from out here.
Race 14: 2 Won Nite In Vegas- Monster effort at a big number before tiring; 9 Fueled N Waiting- Big close into legit fractions; 3 Red Phoenix- Gets Aaron and needs a better journey; 8 Chocolate Crush- In the best form of these, but gets the worst post of these.
