Saturday's Back To The Track Card

Ayers starts things off and I will join the proceedings around 8 PM. Meet and greet with Aaron Merriman, trainer Fred Winstead and others. Playable races and a very (imo) hittable Back to the Track Pick 4 with some value. See that separate post. Good Luck! Don't forget-- Free $1,000 Handicapping contest starts on race 3!

Race 1: 5 Mary My King- Don’t worry, no Elton John quotes tonight, but this driver change is a winner; 4 Lone Star Winner- Most consistent of these and will be ready if the fave falters; 6 Get Lost Linda- Kind of hangs around and is better than the maidens in here.

Race 2: 3 Giulio- Has been doing huge work, just too tough a trip last time; 5 Muscle Sprouts- Wants the top and may get it with the Winstead horse assigned outside; Master Buckin Uhl- What’s not to like? Oh yeah, the post. Otherwise solid.

Race 3: 1 Matt’s Pick- He was Dan’s Pick (over 2 & 7). ‘Nuff said; 5 Bad Man Hall- Getting sharper & this is probably is best level when right; 2 Mr Orchard Street- Always races well here.

Race 4: 3 Real Easy- No. I’m not picking Charlino every race. It just seems that way; 6 Ge’s Antonio- Was the win at the bottom a wake-up call? 1 Sand Honors- Inside draw helps this barn-changing front-ender; 5 Ohio Star- Robin chose over #4, who I had on the ticket at first.

Race 5: 7 Maggies Son A- Did what he needed to in his first with Lasix. How low will he go; 4 Camcoder- Very solid open pacer; 2 Wow Power- Very consistent and has proven he contends.

Race 6: 3 Sam’s Delight- Not wild about him, but Dan picked over 1, 4 & 6 -- all figure at least as well; 4 Supreme Ruler- Usually contends when he draws well; 5 The Long Goodbye- Hot barn.

Race 7: 3 Noble Maximus- No chance last time and now drops lower; 5 Go Bogart- 1st time Charlino has been even better on Sam’s horses; 2 Penn Turbo Ted- Solid player gets his best draw in ages; 6 Elm Grove Gerson- Not the handiest, but has a monster brush.

Race 8: 2 Over Spurred- Life best in last, 1st time with Kurt; 1 Yankee Coburn- Has decent speed and rail should help him; 3 Anastasia Willie- Jeff needs to get his Willie out (in cover flow)

Race 9: 4 Aliquippa- Dan chose him over the 1 & 2 in the 2nd leg of the Back To The Track Pick 4; 3 Sunset Ball- Impressive against better in local return; 1 Moreland Flash- Could be anything.

Race 10: 5 Kinnick- Tried to get Fred to put me up; odds might have been even money; 9 Lucky Jackpot- Very sharp, but faces a machine; 1 Zipsnapndrop- Two good efforts from outside must be considered; 2 Bodandy Andy- Fits this level and should get a decent trip.

Race 11: 5 Master Wheels- Umm, guess what? 1 Genesis Royalimage- Not a fan, but current form must be respected; 2 Wild Nordic- Moves up in great form for Robin and The Quese.

Race 12: 9 Rd Rustler- Not sure how he will be from the 2nd tier, but worth a flyer at a price; 4 Zakman- Woke up with the drop last time; 2 Western Eddie- Fits here, but rarely wins.

Race 13: 2 Just Catch Ya- Faces softer in 3rd local race and gets you know who; 7 Go Cowboy Go- Usually does some work and has faced better lately; 1 Rocco’s Revenge- Should get the lead, but how long can he hold it? 9 Big Guy- Same class, but easier foes than last two starts.
