Friday filly features

Off a very good on-air Saturday and Tuesday, where I did not have good feel for the cards. I like several on this card and that probably means I'll have a bad night. See you in the winners circle.

Race 1: 6 Jackie’s Gem- Post is only issue for this class-dropper who is 1st time Charlino; 1 Sophia- If she won’t go forward for Stahl, she never will; 9 Allamerican Dora- Does some work.

Race 2: 1 Fiedty Kindof Luv- Best post in ages and was safe with Sugg; 2 Excellent Caviar- Workhorse always hangs around; 3 Siena Belle- Has a big brush, timed right, she’s good.

Race 3: 1 P C’s Exotica- Stahl jumps off the 5 to drive this one for Melloy; 8 Youaretheonlyone- Nobody is better from the snowman than the guy who is traveling tonight on a plane; 9 Mcmerry Again- Has been showing a little bit of competitive fire, needs to show more.

Race 4: 6 Native Flower- Risky choice, but hoping that after a flat start, she can return to her early July form; 5 Dream Misty- Last week was not as bad as it looks; a big factor; 2 Holdzmfromfloppin- Stahl for Merriman, but not that one; 4 Vicky Obrien- Consistent.

Race 5: 4 Silvers Luck- Looks for #14 on the season, Silver is golden; 3 Whoville- Move sup off two straight wins and was credible here for Stahl 3 back; 1 Stox Up Bluegrass- Has been good, may be better from this draw.

Race 6: 3 Radiant Star- With Charlino, she wins even though she fits the original condition; 1 Lonely Me- Wake up call last time? 6 Pea Ridge- Gets a slight class drop and may surprise.

Race 7: 6 Towner’s Great Lady- A different animal on the engine, can she get top? 7 Cn Loufly Loretta- Bobby Wilson calls on Charlino, which ain’t gonna hurt; 9 Lady Of The Dragon- Gets Stahl back on the bike after a freshening. Can contend; 5 Sweetie Sue Cam- Best of the rest.

Race 8: 6 Peggy Spur- Ultra-consistent, I can see her red tail lights heading for Spain; 3 Ms Denali- Form cycle moving the right way; 1 Krissy K- Needs to go to the top and improve her position from there.

Race 9: 4 Surf Song- Nice Q, may be ready off the layoff; 1 Icu Roller- Gets Stahl, but would have liked a bit more work in last start; 9 Cole By a Knows- 2nd tier may be a burden, I knows.

Race 10: 4 Envy- I can see Daniel waving goodbye; 3 Doowrah Silver- Racing well & is poised if fave falters; 1 April Fool Days- Very consistent & will be forward from the rail; 6 Medoland Kendall- Monster win with the drop, but she doesn’t get Elton John’s favorite driver here.

Race 11: 5 Shelbys Muneymaker- Pretty much out of relevant Elton John quotes by now. Best mare here wins; 1 Misster Wilker- Three-year-old has upside; 4 Sister Kae- Inconsistent, but competitive with her best.

Race 12: 5 Play On- Advantage to the Stahl/Rideout/Shuttleworth combo; 1 Quite A Shark- Good draw helps considerably; 6 Fun Lady- May have fun here, at her best level.

Race 13: 3 Blueridge Magdalen- Has proven she can win in this class; 2 Screamin Believer- Lifetime best with Dan C, but faces a sharp one; 6 Marantha Hanover- Seems to like this racetrack; 1 Soaring Cloud- Has shown effort and now gets the best possible draw.
