Monday I've got Friday on my mind

A very tough card, but the weather should be perfect and we may see some youngsters (equine and human) step up big time. I am on the air and hope to eb in the winners circle for picks. Stop by and chat!

Race 1: 2 Intrepid Orion- Default choice for Aries’ little bro; 5 Jaowrski- First starter is well-connected; 1 Freedom Chase- Needs to sustain, but has speed and may figure.

Race 2: 3 Sunshine Missy- Faces lesser shipping in from Telegraph; 4 Imahonkyconchman- 3rd back and racing well but break is a worry; 7 Lone Star Winner- Improving, but post concerns.

Race 3: 9 C R Dream- Has been competitive against better & I like the Joliff/Repine team; 3 Mcarty- Always hangs around, will he break through? 2 Western Draw- Inside draw is the key.

Race 4: 4 Whiteascanbe- Was Sugg-cessful against letter with an impressive effort; 1 Night Trouble- Hangs around, especially from the rail; 3 Tough Bow Min- Usually does work and JD may get along with him well; 2 Pacifciam- Always contends at some point in the mile.

Race 5: 3 Clayton Delaney- Gets class relief and knows how to win…just not lately; 7 Mulebarn Bob- Game effort parked last time; 6 Super Scot- Will he Finn-ish his mile on a half for the track’s newest backstretch colonist?

Race 6: 6 Mcfriendly- Gets Lasix off an effort where he did everything but win; 4 Buzz Hershey- No chance dropping in his last, consider him; 1 Currently Flying- Has had success with the pride of Dundee before.

Race 7: 5 Search The Falcon- In a good spot & gets a lukewarm call; 2 Western Edie- Took pressure & yielded again; 6 Romance’s Thunder- Gets Stahl & cruises off his best, but we haven’t seen his best lately; 1 Magic Dart- Old guy doesn’t have to do much to get on this ticket. Neither does Magic Dart.

Race 8: 5 Stormy Naybor- Was facing better & this is wide open; 1 Moofalet- Miserable recent posts have hurt her; 3 I’ve Had Better- Showing improvement & could score here for Smitty.

Race 9: 1 Lima Darlin- Slight call with the rail and Stahl, but flip the exacta a few times; 56 Corly’s Finale- Coming back into form after a rough go; 7 Count N Caloris- Drops back to the level of the claim/last win after trying stakes company.

Race 10: 1 Rich Man Poor Man- Somebody has to win this one and the old guy tries hard; 2 Western Jack- Stale date means I don’t know Jack; 6 The Swami- Starting to do some work, but hard to predict; 4 That’s Textbook- Best efforts are with Stahl in the bike.

Race 11: 3 Diehl’s Deal- Beat these last time, but no Elliott here; 1 Come Along Fred- Tyler can skim the cones and get a good piece of this; 4 Motown Boogie- Bad draws in last two, this one will pass a few late.

Race 12: 1 Fidelity Hanover- Supposed to be a very good one and still may end up that way; 6 Hey This Is Seth- Hey Seth, it’s Keith. You’re second best here; 3 Master Lad Pro- Gradual improvement since coming to the Route Eight oval.

Race 13: 3 Mainline Hall- Finally gets a post and gets reunited with Stahl; 6 Bodandy Andy- Current form may be the best of these; 2 Picasso’s Dream- Beat these last time and should get a similar trip; 5 Saltea’s Sanjay- The sick scratch is the question mark.
