Monday musings

Lots of tough ones here, some valid angles (perhaps) and some green horses who could step up. BTW- Tuesday's picks are the last until Friday 4/30, as I am taking a few days in North Carolina with the reptiles. WIll also be mini-golfing and dolphin watching.

Race 1: 1 Rubberband Man- Let me down in last, but must win eventually; 5 Palmach- Raced gamely despite a tough trip in local debut; 6 Pace- Another Henry rehab that could be anything.

Race 2: 3 Bit O Looks- Solid freshman campaign and first time Charlino; 9 Nicks Mean Machine- He should be fresh after 18 months off; 5 He Too Shall Pass- Really likeed this youngster and I think he has great upside.

Race 3: 1 Brother Bud- They opened up the class for him, then he gets the rail & Aaron; 5 Bluetime Avalanche- Aaron chose off him as he moves up in class; 4 Pure Strength- Has never been off the board, looks like Ryan wanted 4-30 second quarters in the qualifier & he got ‘em.

Race 4: 3 Spit Happens- From the penthouse to the outhouse and then the winners circle; 5 Lookslikefire- Usually does work, but struggles in last; 2 On Tour- Gets Aaron and a third back angle; 4 J And S Hoover- Not real consistent since going to Team Mapes, but fits with these.

Race 5: 1 Tough Bow Min- The only other driver with a UDRS over .225 drew the snowman, raced decent last good post; 6 The Swami- Fresh and class relief; 5 Sultan Desbi- Why not?

Race 6: 6 Tsm Queen B T- Always hanging around and could core as others have won out of the class; 1 Golden Slippers- More effective when inside, like she is here; 4 Corly’s Finale- Need to see more from her.

Race 7: 2 Dragon Rider- Class dropper below level of last win gets 1st-time Charlino; 9 Varitek- One of these days, he is gonna turn into a racehorse; 4 Rd Rustler- Must sustain on the front.

Race 8: 9 Bustamante- Drops to the level of his last win, but current form a question; 4 Fancy Looker- Seems to be improving a bit; 3 Laser Bay- Needs to finish stronger.

Race 9: 3 Kzul Sx Bluegrass- Gets a pretty soft spot but doesn’t like to win; 2 Ohio Star- 1st-time Charlino; 9 Madges Jackpot- Willingly passes late, will she be close enough to matter?

Race 10: 3 Liftoff Bayama- The one is probably better, but Ryan chose the 3 over the 2/7/9; 1 Up Front Hanover- Gotta try to beat the odds-on favorite here; 7 Free For Life- Very consistent if he can overcome the post.

Race 11: 2 Master Buckin Uhl- Super sharp and may beat the class dropper; 9 Redzilla- Always right there, doing work; 3 Wyatt- Well-traveled & has been facing better, will Stahl help?

Race 12: 2 No Risk- Class and post relief may get him to the winners circle; 3 Auto Pilot- Back at the level where he won on cruise control; 1 Launch Angle- Also back at level of his last win.

Race 13: 1 Odds On R J- Right now, this is his level; 9 Class Worker- Ought to trip out here; 2 Currently Flying- Class dropper doesn’t win much; 6 Snow Storm Sam- Closed well for Dino in his last start.
