Saturday 3/13

I tried to get a few favorites beat, but I think the place to find value is underneath in the tris and exactas. Good luck.

Race 1: 1 One Eyed Willie- Gets Aaron, the rail and the same class off a 57.2 win, duh; 4 Saltea’s Sanjay- Stahl chose over #2 since he was very good at this class in last; 2 Toronado Mindale- Was higher on my ticket until Ryan chose off.

Race 2: 1 Goatcoat George Tm- Jumps up off claim, but gets rail, keeps Charlino; 3 C J Blaze- Solid in debut at this level; 2 Depravedhedonist- Aaron chose to the #8, but I’ll take this one.

Race 3: 6 Quantum King Leo- Gets Aaronb who chose off one I liked & may return to earlier form; 8 Diamond Hunter- Assigned outside, but may overcome it; 4 Go To Jo- Uber-consistent.

Race 4: 3 Stringtowner- Raced less than ¼ mile in seasonal debut and was flying; 6 Perfect Door- Very consistent at this level; 4 Expresso Forte- Also generally hangs well with these; 8 Bettor Design- A tough assignment from the snowman for Stahl.

Race 5: 2 Slade Gram- Change of barns has helped him a lot; 5 Soul Redeemer- First tag, at least recently, & good current form; 4 Liftoff Bayama- Risky move, I sense a barn change.
Race 6: 4 Spirit Freeluck- Back at his best level; 2 Snows Bangert Boy- Not sure he is ready to win at this level, even with Aaron; 5 Nukes Fortunateson- May be braver off a low-level win.

Race 7: 3 Flash Dancing- Stahl driving this one may be better than Jennifer Beals; 1 E C K- Form before last week was (Y)eck, rail is key; 5 Nl Nuclearmedicine- Has struggled in this class, hoping for better; 9 Yankee Flyer- Second tier off a sick scratch makes him a tough pick.

Race 8: 5 Diehl’s Deal- Costly break last time, but gets a relatively soft field here; 6 Danny-o- Moves up and not sure he can handle these; 1 Bustamante- Moves back up, but is he ready?

Race 9: 3 Andy’s Z Tam- Trip last week was even more impressive than the chart looks; 7 Big Bad Tj- Super sharp for Terry Tackett; 1 Wow Power- Charlino’s choice over #4 and #5.

Race 10: 3 Gordie How- Not ready for the open yet, but getting closer; 6 Scootin Higher- How will he respond to a fresh set of hands? 4 Launch Angle- Blasts off to a higher class; 9 Key Western- Credible contender for new connections.

Race 11: 5 Little Old Ladywho- Getting it back together after a tough 14 months; 2 Outdoor Action- Should take a ton of money for Carter, 2nd Lasix; 6 Rose Run Invader- Gets class relief and Aaron, but needs to show me more.

Race 12: 5 Tessalation- Last time he didn’t give effort, smoking was still legal in Ohio buildings; 9 Road Storm- Beat the choice two back, but gets the 2nd tier; 6 Jeff The Builder- Building a pretty good form cycle.

Race 13: 1 Sunset Ball- Gets a post and Aaron at a greatly reduced level; 5 Mattonthechooch- Has some back class, was last week a wakeup call? 6 Napa’s Jokester- Consistent sort.

Race 14: 2 Mainline Hall- Super sharp performer for a hot barn and driver; 6 Forever Friendly- Showed little with Koch from a similar draw, but previous efforts were solid; 7 Davey Pockett N- The Merriman-Rideout connection; 1 Red Rock Dreamer- Races okay when he draws okay.
