Friday On My Mind

Thanks to everyone who mentioned my appearance on TVG with Mr Lucky Tuesday. Looks like it is going to be a semi-regular gig. And they promised to get the graphics right next time...heck, we only had to use a $1 ticket to get the Pcik 4, as it turns out, since all four top picks won, but what the heck, you don;t want to lose out by being too cheap. Here are the Friday picks, some interesting races in waht coul dbe adverse conditions (blustery cold and rainy). Good luck.

Race 1: 3 She’s So Cool- Pretty good 1st effort back, look for value; Peggy Spur- Beat the choice last time, but I am hoping for some value; 5 Ms Denali- Two wins in ’09-10, both here.

Race 2: 5 Polo Aub- Monstrous effort even if it was following the 2; Shady Attack- Not as effective with Joey driving as she was Tuesday; 1 Doowrah Silver- Gets class relief and the rail.

Race 3: 9 Silvers Luck- Second tier may not be her best start, but she gets a slight call; 5 Sara’s Lil Sis- Monster effort to win last, a fluke or improvement? 1 Gram Of Gold- Good form & a rail.

Race 4: 9 Fantastic Fran- Hopeless task from the snowman last time, the best in here; 1 P C’s Exotica- Always hanging around; 2 Jenabell- Gets Stahl with Charlino choosing off, Dan was also listed on 5 & 7; 6 Quenelle Hanover- As consistent as anything in this race.

Race 5: 9 Memphis Glow- Needed the last start and should win; 4 Stox Up Bluegrass- Looks for three in a row in Ohio; 2 Eww That Smell- Back at the level of her last win, with a good draw.

Race 6: 3 Miss Peabody’s Hat- Drops to the bottom, gets first time Charlino and has a bit of back class; 4 Smartie Marti- Lifetime underachiever showed some improvement in her last; 6 Spirit Within- Always does work, doesn’t always sustain it.

Race 7: 1 Tooshadyforalady- Post, class and Stahl all mean she fits here, he chose over 5/7/8; 2 Broadway Petera- Racing with a little bit more heart lately, a major factor; 4 Jjs Request- Probably at her best on or near the front; 6 Janica- A bit of a tease, but she fits off her best.

Race 8: 6 Chili Chonga- Betting the UDRS here, Robin leads the way at .197; Ms Debron- Driven by Kenny Koch at .185; 4 Babbling Barb- Crist just beats out Elvis’s bunkmate Green for the show call, .168-.165.

Race 9: 2 Shelbys Muneymaker- What’s not to like, especially if everyone is fooled by the 7’s mile last week; 3 Passing Lane Penny- Starting to wake up, draws well and has back class; 7 Enticing Attack- Assigned outside? Huh? Perfect trip last time, even if it was a fast one.

Race 10: 4 Tidewater Misty- Has shown little lately, but was facing much better, a hunch; 5 Theresa’s Princess- First time Charlino, even if it is ’cause Stahl chose off; 3 Clarksville Jazz- Racing better over the last month and is 3 of 11 this year.

Race 11: 2 She’s All Country- We get the Stahl - Melloy angle for the first time in awhile on this one; 9 Triple T Ladonna- Should be forward early, but need to do more than she has lately; 8 Tallydega- Tough task from the snowman, but could add trifecta value.

Race 12: 5 Back Home Again- Is Buck Hollar in store for a Black Eyed Peas feeling? 1 Molly Ref- Gets the rail but must sustain her work; 4 Tucson Lace- Charlino’s choice over the #3.

Race 13: 9 Call Box- Sort of, kind of a third start back angle in a race where none impress; 4 Point N Scoot- Raced well for 7/8 of her first local start, consider with the trainer; 1 Jo-ju-jan- Hasn’t exactly been effective from the rail at this level; 7 Zim And Torre- Post a question.
