Monday Feb 8- Software problems posting-- look in comments.
Race 1: 5 Pacing Pepper- Very consistent and I like the driver change on the Michigan shipper; 6 Queens Scooter- Another consistent one, but we may have seen his best already; 3 Rubberband Man- Second start back , but may need another one to show his best.
Race 2: 9 B B Balanced Babe- Drops to the level of a quality effort last year; 5 Photo Enlargement- Drops to the level of last win but Clair’s strike rate makes him a tough play; 8 Trytopass Sam- First time at this level & usually does work, can he overcome the snowman?
Race 3: 9 Happy Riggs- Aaron chooses over the Milner-trainee; 3 Currently Flying- Class dropper has done a bit of work lately; 5 Hooiser Lion- Tough last out, faces softer here.
Race 4: 2 Fortune Ho- Class relief, best draw in 2 months & Aaron; 3 Pacificam- Must finish better in this class; 1 Real Sexy- Can stalk these from rail; 9 Sultan Desbi- Must be close early.
Race 5: 9 Tsm Queen B T- Has been solid at this level despite poor draws; 2 Web Charger- Very consistent, but needs to show more to be on top; 1 Stepping High- Rail may help.
Race 6: 2 Dublin Dollars- Maybe a change of scenery wakes him up; 4 Brickhouse Road- Fits with his best, inconsistent; 1 Mj’s Fortune- May be a bit more aggressive off the switch with J.D.
Race 7: 3 Go Again- Class of the field, despite poor recent form; 1 Green Acre Pill- Should get a good trip here, just needs to finish the mile; 4 Catnapper- Third start back and has been good since the break; 2 Karrydale Intrepid- Another third back off a good effort, but Aaron chose off.
Race 8: 2 Kueken- Has been racing pretty well and gets Stahl tonight; 5 Bigboppr Bluegrass- Barn change could be a slam-dunk for this one; 1 Laci’s Town- Aaron chose over 1/6/9. Mmmm.
Race 9: 2 Fancy Looker- Much more consistent with Lasix. Faster too. 7 Rose Run Ichabod- Huge effort first time Lasix; 8 Lotsa Help- Best form of these, but the post is an absolute killer.
Race 10: 6 Eye Of The Dog- Drops to $3s after a win at $4s. For sale sign or red flag? 1 Slide Lock- Had excuse in his only poor recent line, sharp; 4 Hot Soup- Always on the ticket, but where are the wins? 3 Red Cloud Rising N- Racing well and draws better than he has been.
Race 11: 9 Krissy K- En route to another 20-win season; 1 My Claudette- Ultra sharp and off a lifetime mark, but faces better; 6 Bette Lavec- Sharp mare makes it an all distaff-trifecta.
Race 12: 1 Winbak Len- Impressed me Wednesday with owner/trainer in the bike; 9 Eagle Tack- Fits very well at this level; 2 Saucy Brown- Improving since the claim, consider.
Race 13: 3 Chisum- Gets class relief and should beat these; 1 Ge’s Antonio- Must consider from the rail off his last race; 9 Ohio Star- Class dropper gets Aaron as Wyatt chooses the #1; 4 That’s Textbook- Stahl chose this one over the Melloy-trainee, which surprised me.
So, only three winners Monday, but when one is Dublin Dollars ($27.20) it is a good night. SO, for the dozens of you who read this which is more important-- an 8 win night like Saturday, when they are mostly chalk, or a couple good longshots...also had a $9.20 winner. For Monday, $39.20 to the American Red Cross, making the total $320.80.
