Come Monday, It Will Be Allright (Feb 15 picks)

Okay, more like Margaritaville, I guess. Here are the Monday picks-- a bit of a horse shortage as we wrap up five-night a week racing, so wacth for conditions being opened up and eligible at time of entry angles! Good luck.

Race 1: 3 Pacing Pepper- Very consistent and raced well in his local debut 6 Rubberband Man- Third start back, his last start was a pretty good one; 4Yourkindainmyway- Could be anything.

Race 2: 4 Rose Run Freddie- They open up the class for him, the #6 & the #8, but he draws the best; 2 Done It All- Faces far softer here; 3 Photo Enlargement- Should contend with this draw.

Race 3: 3 Slide Lock- Very sharp & draws well here, ride the wave; 1 Polo Joe- Fresh hands a positive for this one; 4 Hot Soup- Super consistent, has lost to the top pick in three of last 4.

Race 4: 3 Intrepid Aries- Third back ends a miserable string of posts; 1 Arturo’s Reactor- Always does well from the rail for Eidens; 5 Go Again- Showed some signs of waking up last week; 6 Good Goalie- Moves up, but has decent speed and may find a good seat.

Race 5: 5 Fancy Looker- Superior form cycle despite tough last out; 8 Lotsa Help- May be hung again from the snowman; 3 Rose Run Ichabod- Is racing much better with Lasix, consider.

Race 6: 4 Laughing Is An Art- Massive class dropper (there’s a bigger one tomorrow) should beat these even with me driving; 2 Ge’s Antonio- Fried by last week’s fractions, but will be forward early; 3 El Nino Killean- A strong wind blow for him with Lasix the second time.

Race 7: 9 Magic Dart- Drops to the level of his last win, but 2nd tier is not ideal for him; 2 Kueken- Racing very well right now; should be Koch-en; 4 Hoosier Lion- Monster effort at the bottom and a decent draw; 3 Chisum- Moves back up off a basement win, a factor.

Race 8: 1 Trytopass Sam- Had no chance with recent draws at this class; 4 Chip Chip Mac- Moves up off a maiden win; Tye has been a Key to his success; 6 Laser Bay- Needs to susutain his work, but could wrap this trifecta with the right trip.

Race 9: 5 Mainline Hall- Like Cantona, always shows ‘art and ‘onor, obscure soccer reference aside, he should win; 2 Red Cloud Rising N- Aaron’s choice over #3/#4; 4 Capricous Art- Good draw and a major player, but Aaron chose off.

Race 10: 3 Green Acre Pill- Got shuffled, but still won his last, may I have another? 2 G Rod- Down the road he goes, how far, no one knows; 1 Black Oliver- Good draw should put him in the two or three hole; 4 Soul Redeemer- Back up in class off a confident win.

Race 11: 2 Krissy K- Finally gets her nose on the gate, which will make the difference; 4 My Claudette- As sharp as ever in her career; 3 Danny-o- Contends if he minds his manners

Race 12: 2 Spirit Freeluck- A hunch he is sitting on a big effort; 4 Rd Rustler- Does work sometimes; 3 Rich Man Poor Man- Good draw gets him on this ticket, but not much more.

Race 13: 3 Big Head Hundreds- Class drop + Kurt= Sugg-cessful; 2 Dream Sunrise- Another class dropper who can contend here; 4 Happy Riggs- Back class and usually gives effort; 9 Amati- A couple of tough recent trips. Keith Sr. should be improving with a few starts back, too.

Horrible Monday of 'capping- I may need a slumpbuster. Three winners, $10.60 mutuel. Yikes. $415 is the new total.
