Saturday in the Park

As the Black Eyed Peas sing: I've got a feeling, that tonight's gonna be a good night. Yeah tonight's gonna be a good, good night. Tonight's the night night. Let's live it up. I got my money. Let's spend it up. Fill up my cup Mazel tov.

Lots of value, lots of winners and playable tris and exactas, which I rarely like. Good luck!

Race 1: 4 Iamgonnabeachyou- Let’s see if the trainer change wakes her up, class drop should; 3 Radiant Star- This class dropper improves her post, too; 6 Laffy Taffy- Must sustain her work.

Race 2: 1 So Fly- Goes for three-in-a-row, in Ohio, from the rail; 3 Genna- Moves up in outstanding form; 6 Go To Jo- Clearly benefiting from time off and a change of scenery.

Race 3: 3 Smileifyoucam- Class relief off the claim is usually a good angle; 2 Happy Occasion- Improving with each local start; 1 Honey Creek Abby- Third back and massive class drop but current form is as suspect as Anthony Sowell.

Race 4: 3 French Attack- Always hangs around at this level and is due; 1 Kzul Sx Bluegrass- Much better when used hard leaving, should be tonight; 4 Blue My Mind- Trips have been tougher than the lines look; 8 Eagle Creek Patrol- Closes a bit, adds value from the snowman.

Race 5: 2 Yankee Coburn- Slight nod in a very competitive group; 7 Master Wheels- Has the class, but not his usual closing pop of late; 3 Genesis Royalimage- Could be anything, chancy.

Race 6: 3 Yankee Flyer- Fits this class better than the eights; 2 Chang Dynasty- Was out at the Ford Plant late last race, very sharp; 1 Chain Of Command- Won’t be first up tonight from PP #1.

Race 7: 1 Equalize- Classy old guy may turn the Page on these from inside; 9 Medoland Tess- Figures to get a good trip and having A-rod doesn’t hurt; 4 Misty’s Dignity- Big mile in last but doesn’t always fire; 5 Iconic Style- Always does good work and seem in a bit softer in this one.

Race 8: 3 Artistic Dreamer- Back at level of last win with Aaron; 2 Stylish Glory- No decisions for Wyatt, down the road with this one; 5 Fox Valley Flyby- Ultra consistent & must use on ticket.

Race 9: 7 Extreme Makeover- Hot barn, good driver, should win easily; 3 Samsawinner- Much to like, but faces a sharp one; 2 Golden Nutmeg- Not a fan, but you can’t argue with his form.

Race 10: 9 Dewey- Should atone for 1948 tonight; 4 Rocco’s Revenge- Shows class, but no consistency, could easily win or be 6th; 5 Unrecognized Saint- Class dropper will be overbet, Otto horses usually need a local start; 8 Mr Orchard Street- Love the horse, hate the post.

Race 11: 6 Camcoder- Like I’d get off him after he yielded $16.40 last week for us, sharp; 2 Bob Watts- Three-year-old loves the half and is prepping for the Cleveland Classic; 1 Lite Me Up- Never races badly, but has lost the razor sharp edge we are used to seeing.

Race 12: 5 Townline Powerful- So he got beat last time, still the best; 4 Knockout Sahbra- Credit for vanquishing the pick, but not as sharp; 3 Elm Grove Gerson- Has found his level.

Race 13: 6 Silly N Sassy- A guess; 4 Real Peachy- Races badly with good trips and “goodly” with bad trips, you figure; 3 Fernbrook Fiasco N- Class relief may help the old guy.

Race 14: 5 Rella’s Trick- Clearly the class of this field, recent form muddles things; 9 Buttercup Bob- Even though Aaron chose off, I like him; 4 Western Empire- Who would have thought he would be stuck at this level this long? 3 Mel’s Z Tam- Gotta give a call to any horse that double-heats at the Viroqua, Wisconsin fair, especially for $240 a pop!
