Monday, Monday. Can't Trust That Day

I am going with a lot of value plays and some of them are risky. The Lady Lions (the #3 seed) start State Tournament play against Atwater Waterloo, so announcer Ayers Ratliff will be the man on the hot seat. Good luck.

Race 1: 3 Victoryatlass- Gets a very soft group and may be fresh; 9 Fugeddaboudit- Will be on the ticket, but is 1-54 in ’08-09; 4 I Will Come Over- Passed a couple late from way back.

Race 2: 9 Party Boat- Impressive local debut; 2 Sp Starbright- Was solid at this level last time; 3 Rubberband Man- Back in for a tag and should get a little piece of this one.

Race 3: 4 Super Jenny- First time Deaton and he does well with Wes’s horses; 3 Mario’s Schatzi- First-time Stahl won’t hurt this one; 8 Sisternevertrails- Ilove everything about this filly- the way she goes, the way she closes, but I hate the post. May still surprise these.

Race 4: 9 Raider Time- Melloy calls on a catch-driver, that’s a tell; 2 Gates Of Heaven- Best post in three months; 8 No No Lucille- Has faced much better and gets Matt K, but must overcome the snowman; 5 Cg’s Genna- 1st start back and may save ground for a small piece.

Race 5: 5 Sandblast- Wow. 58.1 in Nw$600L5? And these are trotters! 3 Call Me Merkle- Has the speed to get away behind the choice and race evenly from the pocket; 9 Smok’n Coalburner- Has always had breaking issues, but Koch seems to get along with him.

Race 6: 3 Onewinginthefire- Stale date after Delaware debacle, a risky play, but wins off his best; 1 Just In Pine- First time tag after bad results in straight nw2; 7 Same Page- With a trip.

Race 7: 9 Jakey Boy- Big class drop and has some decent lines 4,5,6 back; 6 Sand Honors- Another class dropper, shows work against better 8/22; 5 Cruisin Sam- Consistent results at this level; 1 Candygram Sam- The rail at this level is a must use, even though I hate his form.

Race 8: 6 Pat’s Fantasy- Appears to be the best of these, not that that says much; 9 Shadowcross Arose- Won’t finish third forever; 7 Whoville- Waking up at this level, consider.

Race 9: 3 Kenzie- Needs a flat mile, may pull minor surprise; 4 Crown Time Big Liz- One more shot with her for me; 9 Windy Pete- Risky from the 2nd tier, likely gets the call with nose on gate.

Race 10: 7 Black Oliver- Drops below level of last win and this mile won’t go ’54; 6 Beach Boy Blues- Has been solid for Deaton; 2 Barratry- Mellor to Stahl, as discussed previously; 3 Varitek- Racing better, but still not to expectations.

Race 11: 6 Apache’s Gold- Huge move in last to win, needs the right fractions; 2 Bubontherun- Highly effective when drawing inside; 7 Brynees Lot N- Does work every week, post an issue.

Race 12: 6 Mystic Soulmate- I have no idea where Ammon finds these trotters, but what an eye; 7 Ray J- Matt’s choice is a solid player; 1 Mom’s Looker- Can skim cones and get third money.

Race 13: 4 Bigboppr Bluegrass- Can hang with these, but current form is suspect; 9 Harmony Oaks Tom- Won against these two back, figures; 3 Guile’s Boy- Beat these three back.

Race 14: 3 Slide Lock- Most consistent of these, but rarely wins; 2 Make Me Proudchico- Usually does big work, but doesn’t always sustain it; 1 Night Trouble- Should be on the point, can he last? 4 Edison Hanover- 49-pacer starts his comeback, deceptive Q, I’ll give him a start.
