Monday is Matt's Day

I think Kakaley might win a bunch tonight. There won't be a lot of value unless we get the right horses underneath, so let's hope the odds gods are kind to us.

Race 1: 4 Evironmental- Equals his best draw in a couple months and did work last week; 2 Cg Rain Princess- Improving since the qualifier and could be a factor; 1 Striking Karat- Dropped to this level and a first-over trip didn’t work out, another shot here.

Race 2: 5 Storm Front- Also eligible moves in in fine form; 6 Hula Lu- Has been a different horse with Matt K in the bike; 9 Lima Adore- Barn change and has shown a little.

Race 3: 6 Olin- Faces a slightly softer group than the Sires Stakes and has been competitive there; 7 Flori’s Future- Dittos, but seems a step slower than the top pick; 5 Just In Pine- Has done good work, but faces better tonight.

Race 4: 5 Drawback-Drops to the bottom and gets fresh hands…again; 1 Pronk- Another class dropper, but he disappointed in last; 4 L Dees Dr Norman- Wildly inconsistent, but will do his mother proud one day; 3 Engine Hanover- Big last effort with Matt driving but winless this year.

Race 5: 1 Photo Enlargement- A different horse with Kakaley in the bike; 7 So Fly- Tough fractions in last, improving for current barn; 2 Touch Of Nay- Finally a post, will he respond?

Race 6: 1 Personal Pleasure- Improving each start, could break through here; 3 Two Willow Luck- Has ability, but is very green; 5 Maddie’s Magic Man- Competitive against better at fairs.

Race 7: 2 Romance’s Thunder- Form is awful, but has never raced so cheap locally; 3 My Dads The Best- Nice win at the bottom, could step up; 8 Chain Of Command- If he draws inside the 5, he is on top of my ticket, despite the break; 1 Robin Dontget- Another H. Beachy success story?

Race 8: 4 Strategic Win- Nearly always show some quality; 5 Charming Comer- Super consistent, but a step slower than the top pick; 2 Come Along Fred- First good draw in months.

Race 9: 7 Oneforthepresident- Best in here, but post is a concern; 6 Breeze On By- Old guy has been pretty good to Rachel; 4 Harmony Oaks Tom- Third back and consistent.

Race 10: 3 Brother Bud- May be beat himself, but I will take that chance; 4 Polo Max- Class relief off a win, but faces a sharp one; 9 Splish Flash- Always hangs around, but must finish stronger; 1 Spare Time Tramp- Debut at this level impressed me, don’t dismiss.

Race 11: Crown Time Big Liz- All she need was a three-year layoff, sharp; 6 Lewis Lavec- Gets Kakaley, enough to consider; 3 Rompaway Zelda- Better with hopples, but how much?

Race 12: 1 Dream Sunrise- Nose on gate, should roll; 9 A Firm Kisser- Doing the best racing of his life this month; 8 Liltycantbedenied- Kakaley chose this one over #2, despite the snowman.

Race 13: 5 Panti-apartheid- Did a bit of work last start and now gets Kakaley for Koch; 7 Swing Plane- Needs to work out a trip and just may; 1 Candygram Sam- How often do we say the rail at this level is huge? 9 King Taylor- Can hang around and wrap the superfecta.
