Race 1: 4 Action Victory- Trying to be beat a 1st-time starting fave with this one, who improved with the drop; 9 Sisternevertrails- And didn’t in the Q, but a nine-hole in a career debut may be a tall order; 2 Kevin Goz Commando- Has been better with the month-long freshening.

Race 2: 1 Carolyn’s Fortune- First decent post in her career, should jog; 5 Lady Railaway- Does work when she doesn’t fight herself, needs flat mile; 9 Sam’s Flash- Dittos for this one.

Race 3: 4 Special Yankee- Well-bred, consistent and can be better; 9 Sj’s War Pony- Beaten favorite four in a row, can’t pick him to win here; 1 Trained To Trot- Bullet Bob won’t get the fractions of June 1, but this one still figures.

Race 4: 9 Guile’s Boy- Gets class relief and can go fast, but is 0-19 in ’09; 4 Varitek- Seems able to compete at this level; 2 Big Fat Cat- Drops off a credible local debut, consider; 3 Purpose To Chance- Gets Kakaley and can close big-time, but does not always fire.

Race 5: 5 J And S Hoover- Has some ability and may be worth a flyer at a price; 9 Summer Blast- Has shown little while facing better; 3 Go get Jacqui- Shows results at this level.

Race 6: 4 Cracker Chris- Huge mile behind a sharp one in last, best bet; 1 Cruisin Samantha- Has speed, gets Kakaley and rail, but doesn’t always finish; 5 Rubberband Man- May bounce.

Race 7: 1 Oneforthepresident- As solid a form cycle as you could ask for; 2 Eicarls Eldorado- Newcomer gets Stahl and may be overlooked; 5 Covered Connection- Very consistent, but draws farthest out of the major players; 3 Allamerican Raider- A step slower than top three.

Race 8: 1 Lilians Chip- Wins with trip like 5/23 or 7/2, but a lot of xxxs for this one; 3 Pembroke Heat Wave- Quality debut, how much more can he go? 4 Trot-n-nathan- Can finish the tri here.

Race 9: 2 Devil’s Deal- 2 YO qualified well for Umholtz, now gets Matt K, should be ready at first asking; 1 Fueled N Waiting- Does a bit of work and now gets a good draw; 9 Ill Sting The Best- Her dam was Horse of the Year here in 2001, but she has shown little facing better.

Race 10: 3 Dummy Jones- Returns from Hoosier to a track he likes; 1 Cheyennes Catch- Faces softer, was up in class in last; 6 Dees Bomber- Can be on this ticket with the right trip; 9 Strategic Win- Moves up after a strategic win.

Race 11: 6 Polo Ody- Faces lesser after some fast miles at Harrington; 7 Yankee Squire- In great form, but draws poorly here; 2 Splish Flash- Improved in first start for new connections.

Race 12: 8 Anastasia Willie- The snowman is an issue, but he is razor sharp right now; 1 New Riegel Star- Has been impressive against better, but winless in ’09; barbecue time? 4 Slaute To Victory- Just three lifetime starts and could be anything.

Race 13: 6 Rapport Hanover- Class relief and Stahl chose over #9; 3 Class Worker- Figures with these, but will be overbet; 2 Currently Flying- Has done some work despite a string of bad draws; 1 Chips Treasure- Maybe a fresh set of hands will perk him up.
