Soccer tournament this weekend, so I will be in Saturday to 'cap on TV, but here are the Friday selections-- possible t-storms could help some and hurt others. Watch for hot trainers- Ehrhardt, Winstead and Heasley, especially, to get some results. Gonna be very interested to watch the return of Sharon's Future to Northfield and teh 2nd tier (eek). Her last win gavce trainer Brian Loney 1,000 in his career. Congrats.
Race 1: 6 Little Lu Lu- Gets Charlino in a 3rd back effort, has been doing work; 5 Jema Advance- Fresh horse, class drop and aggressive driver, but just her second start in 19 months; 1 Crosswind Fly Bye- No chance dropping in with these last time from outside, better here.
Race 2: 3 Tori’s Angel- Was run at hard all mile last week, another chance; 1 Excellent Caviar-1st competitive post in ages, a factor; 4 Isn’t She Precious- Can contend, ignore the last break.
Race 3: 2 Sharp Trap Shooter- Faces softer; 7 Miss Hardbody- Robin’s been on a roll and he may pick this one up; 1 Miss Peabody’s Hat- Figures strongly, but Charlino chose off, warning.
Race 4: 7 Gates Of Heaven- Contends at this level, gets fresh hands and I am trying to get the fave beat; 4 Bigaffairintown- Double class drop off a decent effort, no value; 9 Spider Girl- On the ticket is the best to hope for from post 9; 6 Cole Moment- J.D. ought to pick her up a bit.
Race 5: 5 Cee Cee Comer- I think I said last week she has always been streaky, duh; 2 Ask For Gold- The class, but form is highly suspect; 1 Connie Corleone- Has speed and the rail, use her.
Race 6: 9 Sharon’s Future- She’ll have to quarter-move to win, but she loves this track; 2 Virtual Dream- Does work and appears ready if Sharon falters; 6 Dvc Dixie Cocktail- At a level where she fits.
Race 7: 4 Armbro Wonder – Moves up from $3k platers, or does she? 3 Sand On The Beach- 2nd Lasix and last week was better than it looks; 9 Rock-n-patty- I’d have pitched her, but Dan C. chose over 6 & 8; 8 Jennas On Jodi- Gets Deaton (good) and the dreaded snowman (bad).
Race 8: 2 The Rainmaker- Massive class relief and Aaron; 4 Shadowcross Arose- Couls be anything off that qually; 7 Redmeansgo- Will need a trip from out here.
Race 9: 5 Dancin Thea- Aaron chose her over Krissy K, so will I; 3 Krissy K- Remarkably consistent, may win here; 1 Ginny Ann Tonik- Ehrhardt’s cheap trotters are all good right now.
Race 10: 4 Up Front Lady Gray- Tough trip in last and raced green, gets Aaron back; 5 Surf Song- Has been better of late; 1 Stampede Jenny- Speedster draws the rail; 6 K’s Dream Boat- Starting to act like a racehorse, on the ticket.
Race 11: 1 Electric Highlight- Last time she raced bad, Bush was still President; 6 Asian Paradise N- Class of field, ignore slow mile in last; 9 Shelbys Muneymaker- Follows top pick.
Race 12: 4 She’s So- Looks like a pretty solid claim, just missed in last; 5 Paint Wheel- Another sharp Winstead-trainee; 2 Fantastic Fran- Moves back up in a great form cycle for Aaron.
Race 13: 3 Dream Misty- Class relief and gets Aaron, but current form suspect; 9 April Fool Days- Gets Elliott, but is 0 for 19 in ’09; 1 Sand Cache’- Freshened and a decent qualifier.
Race 14: 6 Silky Sailor- May be the toughest horse on the track right now, dollar for dollar; 1 Tequila- The post improvement will help her; 4 Stox Up Bluegrass- Heasley barn heating up and Charlino’s choice over 5 & 8; 3 Helene’s Escape- Gets a tag and J.D. in the bike.
