Monday Mania

Not much to talk about today, although I must say that the Hoyo Maduros from JR are unbelievable smoked for $3.50 each. Wish I had brought a couple to the track. Oh well, I am sure I can find a decent cigar in the humidor somewhere.

Here are the picks:

Race 1: 5 This Girls Hot- Faces softer after doing good work in first start in 18 months; 7 Cinderellas’s Pete- Is going to win eventually, but not tonight from here; 2 Eagle Bette- Good draw and connections, should continue to improve.

Race 2: 6 Blue Rock Haymaker- Did not like the surface last week. Skip if it’s rainy (or snowy); 5 Bunnycrusier- Very green and has license to improve; 4 Herecomeslasvegas- Had a win last year and last effort was solid, although with a slow last panel.

Race 3: 1 Out Of The Habit- Gonna keep riding the Smith to Merriman angle, even if it is super chalk; 3 I Will Come Over- Has a chance, but Aaron chose the rail horse; 6 Charming Comer- Getting better, but not quite there yet.

Race 4: 8 Laughing Is An Art- Even with the snowman, I might be able to drive this one to victory. Okay, maybe not; but Stahl will; 4 Yankee Ace- Good work in last and now gets class relief; 5 Pat’s Cloud- Gets Kakaley off a deceptive effort; 9 Quick Way Hall- Big class drop.

Race 5: 9 Master GP Dean- Not 100% convinced from the 2nd tier, lukewarm call; 3 Potions And Spells- Showed little dropping in last; 5 Canaco Orville- Big class relief, bit last leaves questions.

Race 6: 4 Doowrah’s Trifold- Always does some work, will win soon; 6 Wildawyn- Shared victory four back & closes well in the class; 9 Average Hoss- 2nd tier Kennedy always dangerous.

Race 7: 7 My Roomie- Huge effort leveled last out, but sign of a wakeup; 1 Damien De Vie- Will be overbet, so I downgraded him; 3 Fox Valley Shaman- Tons of back class but has show little lately; 6 Bad Boy Bunny- Continues to draw poorly, but may sneak to bottom of the superfecta.

Race 8: 1 Praying For A Win- Good draw, class relief and has done work since moving north; 6 Keep Counting- Lateral class move may help, better than lines show; 4 Friday Night Dinky- Likes this class, may show speed.

Race 9: 6 Trytopass Sam- Drop to this level has been a tonic; 1 Mr Mime- Solid at this spot, but no recent wins, must use in tri/exacta; 8 Grit Your Teeth- Drops to level of last win, but post 8.

Race 10: 4 Arts Baker- Red hot horse in a red hot barn; 3 Tough Bow Min- Always close, adds value; 9 Take Down Hall- Has not been that good at this level of late, drop may have helped; 8 Eye Of The Dog- 3rd from PP8 last time, post is the only thing keeping him from winners circle.

Race 11: 6 Gator At The Door- Inconsistent one is best of aninconsistent group; 1 Crazy Train- Maybe barn change keeps him going all the way to the station; 4 Coin Of The Realm- consistent.

Race 12: 5 Swing Plane- JD calls on Josh, that has to mean something; 6 Parisian Bromac N- Is solid at this level but refuses to win; 2 See Buns- Good posts and good efforts in last two.

Race 13:1 The Pan Coulee Dam- Raced well here two back ; 2 Bigboppr Bluegrass- Monster improvement first time Aaron last time; 5 Inquisitive Me-Consistent since shipping from Windsor for Putney; 4 Sporty Moran- Fits on the bottom of this ticket.
