Monday picks

Here is a heads up-- I will remind you again, but my picks will not be available with your programs from Friday, April 3- Tuesday, April 7. I do hope to get April 6 and 7 picks posted here, but I will be on a herpetolgical expedition to he Carolinas and will not be available that week. But, hey, we still have a week if picks and bad jokes until then!

Good Luck!

Race 1: 1 Cinderella’s Pete- Has done good work and now gets the rail; 2 Decidedly- Good seasonal debut sets her up well with Stahl in the bike; 7 Catherinethegreat- Decent qualifier.

Race 2: 1 Ursula K- Apparent changes in the last month get her home; 3 East Coast Girl- Gets a tag and a change of scenery, but has shown little; 2 Average Hoss- Falttening out, but still figures for Dan The Man.

Race 3: 4 Lumberjack Lavec- Has shown nothing, but this IS NW600L5, gets Kakaley; 9 Fortune King- Class dropper gets the second tier for an 0-fer-09 driver; 5 Bigmacatac- Gets class relief, but is 0 for the ‘08-09.

Race 4: 5 Final Attack- Drops to level of last win and gets Kakaley (Sugg chose off), 6 Breeze On By N- Class relief will help, a lukewarm call; 3 Look Who’s Invited- Showing some improvement; 4 Hard Time Gone- Fresh set of hands may help this one.

Race 5: 3 Bj’s Braveheart- Break in last at Mea5/8 is a concern, but this one is tons the best with a flat mile; 1 Whos Yur Daddy Now- Gets the rail and may be able to defend it; 6 Texas Tenderloin- Very inconsistent, but usually does some work.

Race 6: 7 Earl Of Pembrook- 2nd time Lasix+ 1st time Matt K= 1st Northfield win; 1 Hylite Lavec- Can stalk * contend with this soft group; 3 Moneyman- Needs better finishes, but shows effort.

Race 7: 2 Isa Devil- Two good efforts at this level, but has not won since 2007; 4 Noble Moe’s First- Aaron’s choice over the 3 and 8 is enough to consider this one; 6 Mr Ingot- Makes life tough for himself, but can compete with these.

Race 8: 4 Ira K- Has no traces this cheap in year, should finally get to the winners circle; 2 Gold’n Chip Chip- Nice one makes his sophomore debut, but may need a start or two; 1 Trytopass Sam- Needs to mind his manners.

Race 9: 3 See Buns- Finally, a decent draw, gonna give him a chance; 1 Eagle Thriller- Much improved in last start, his first for new connections; 7 Guile’s Boy- Does some work sometimes.

Race 10: 2 Fortune Ho- Drops down off two soft efforts, form a question; 7 Take Down Hall- Very consistent and will be on the move late; 1 Tough Bow Min- Good tactical speed makes him a factor; 3 Captain Mo- Has had success against similar in the Great White North.

Race 11: 6 Damien De View- Drops off two pretty decent efforts, a good value play; 3 Beach Partner- Best results come with A-rod piloting; 2 Spirit Freeluck- Gets Kakaley in this one.

Race 12: 1 Idealized Print- Ridiculous trip in last, should not get parked here; 7 Constantinoble- Dominated these in last, but moves outside; 4 Sleepen N Memphis- Did a bit of work in return off the layoff and should get better.

Race 13: 2 Liltycantbedenied- Solid at this level; 4 Art’s Baker- Won easily off the drop last time; 5 Allamerican Raider- Pitch the last two, both from the snowman post; 3 David Erol- Old guy competes week in, week out, but is not the same horse he was.
