Saturday selections

Here are my Saturday picks-- a bit chalky, tonight, I am afraid, but perhaps a few values. I wll be leaving a few minutes early and Ayres Ratliff will 'cap the last couple races on TV tonight. Good luck.

Race 1: 9 Jate's Boy- big time class relief; 2 Expensive Western- good draw, class drop and a barn change- may flip my top two-tune in; 6 Green Acre Pill- has ability; let's see if the change of scenery helps.

Race 2: 4 Dublin Dollars- Good luck doiblin; your dollars on this one; odds-on; 9 Mystical Victor-flat in last, hope it wasn't Ryan; 6 Mr Mime-credible in debut at this level, but will be overbet

Race 3: 3 Glitter For Prez- lookin for three straight at this level; 2 Fox Valley Jammin- finally gets a post draw, does good work; 5 Spires Trick- drops and can contend

Race 4: 1 Big George H- raced well at this level in last; 3 Eagle Tack -excuse the last, very consistent; 4 Mr Cadillac- moves up but has been sharp for Aaron; 7- Mr Ahhh- moves up in very good form

Race 5: 5 Western Empire- has been solid at this level; fits well; 3 Happy Riggs- drops into conditions from Open Company; 2 Knob Hill Splash- all about post for this one

Race 6: 5 Ask For Gold- rounding into form, Hollar barn is hot?!?; 2 Chust Chudy- first post in awhile and back class; 7 Pine Hill Jewel- not as effective from out here, but could finish the tri

Race 7: 6 Admiral Pembroke-monster effort in last and just missed; 4 Go Bogart- class dropper has been overplayed this year; 2 Dontgetintheway- drops and draws well; 3 Blueridge Rising- did some work off the scratch

Race 8: 5 Category Six- back class and some tough trips; a decent price?; 3 Go Again- moves up and is razor sharp; 2 Well Read- just missed in last

Race 9: 5 Lucca's Revenge- drops from the Open; 1 Yankee Sherwood- class was opened up for him and then he draws the rail!; 7 Blastaway Sahbra-World Champ gets class relief

Race 10: 6 Bj's Tune- until he gets beat; 4 J T Stena- Matt K chose over the 1; 1 Metekas- has done nothing wrong and gets the rail; 5 Forever Nugget-third back and solid

Race 11: 5 Lite Me Up- '08 Horse of the Year is back and should roll; 3 Lakeside Al N- never races badly, but doesn't race well enough; 6 Dan Chaz- will be on the point (I am playing a 5-3-all tri here--anybody could be third)

Race 12: 3 American Tribute- Should be close enough to close these out; 1 Master Wheels- wow, simply wow. 6 Going Hollywood- gets the trotting master in Kurt

Race 13: 4 Towline Powerful- Always races well unless he draws poorly; 6 Sam's Delight- big drop, but has shown little locally; 5 Increase Profit- hot barn; hot driver, the horse not so much; 1 Exceptional Toy- Horse draws better than Matisse and will contend
